After spendding some days traveling along basque coast we arrived in Olazi in the middle of nowhere. Thank god for garmin! NIce house whit beautiful rooms. The views from our room was beautiful. Only bed could be larger not just 120 cm wide. Hosts are very friendly. We got great advices where to eat (Tolare was great) and where to go around.

So peaceful

We spent a week at Olazi and enjoyed every moment. Jon and María Jesús were great hosts. Unusually for us, we arrived without having done any research into the area and not knowing what there was to do.  However, everyday Jon had a new and different itinerary for us to follow that was chosen according to our interests. He knows the area like the back of his hand, has extensive historical knowledge and a great sense of humor! Both Jon, María Jesús and their son, Gohaitz are warm, helpful and welcoming.

The rooms are very clean (and cleaned daily), the breakfast plentiful and the setting is beautiful.  I cannot recommend a stay in Olazi highly enough.

Fantastic country house and hosts!

Within 5 minutes of leaving the motorway at Oiartzun you can be in the luscious green countryside. The drive to the Casa is fantastic and there are hand-painted signposts to show you the way. The owners want to help you in any way possible. 

The one star Michelin restaurant Zuberoa is close by (20 minutes).

In the country

Olazi has very good location. It's located between mountains and ocean in the small mountain village. It's not very easy to find without GPS, but there a lot of pointers. We had GPS and it wasn't a problem.
Here you can meet very friendly and helpful staff. They told us about all interesting places in the district, also they gave as maps and some interesting leaflets
We had very beautiful room with little kitchen. We didn't have TV and WIFI in our room, but it is a big plus for me. I worked using wifi in public places and it was ok.
Here's very quiet. Very clean air and amazing rustic odors.
So i love it and want to come back someday.

Hospitality and very beautiful nature.

We booked this place last minute and the owners were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Simply the drive there was beautiful.Plenty of lush greenery and farm animals! Very quite and clean rooms. The owners even recommended us a 3 day itinerary upon leaving! I highly recommend this place ! : ) thank you olazi

Wonderful place to stay!

Firstly, Although this place was in the middle of nowhere, For some reason we did not get that Farmhouse vibe,  No Animals perhaps ? 
 Anyway, it was a pleasant stay.
 Downsides, its a million miles from anywhere good to eat , The internet, only works in the lobby, And no TV in the rooms.
 Apart from that it was clean , Very quiet, and good value for money
