Lovely small B&B in a simply stunning little historic village. The owner is a delight. We had an amazing room with a beautiful terrace overlooking the village (room 4). There are many very nice restaurants so you can’t go wrong. It is also one of the most peaceful places we have woken up in on our hols in Catalunya. Loved it!!

Beautiful medieval village stay

We arrived at the Blue Hostel on a Friday for two nights after a week of a bit of a fling. I don't know how to explain how healing it has been for the time we've been there. I have nothing but flowers for Toña, a magnificent hostess. It was so natural that we felt at home and left with the feeling of having made a friend. We didn't miss anything and always available for what we needed besides advising us where to eat or dine and visits to the area that we've enjoyed. The facilities for lovers of rustic or vintage sound of a dream. We've never seen so many marvels of decoration, treasures for all of the cones. We found the room so warm because we'd left the heaters in the morning.

Sleeping room, magnificent hostess.

We decided to choose this hostel to celebrate our anniversary as we were going to dinner at the restaurant La Candelaria, in the same village as Peratallada. It was a success. The owner was very nice. She made a mistake and put us in a double room instead of the superior one we had reserved. The commenter had no problem changing us after the room and gave us a bottle of cava for the troubles. The room was beautiful and very spacious. At the entrance a sofa bed and a central table that gives porch. A door to the room itself. The bed was large and very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were clean and with everything. I didn't take any photos because I devoted myself to enjoying the moment.

Bonito y tranquilo hostel is a very nice and quiet hotel.

We recommend visiting the village of Peratallada. Impressive. Although from 15/6 to 15/9 you have to pay for parking as it is a village without cars. It's worth a pasta, but if you stay you'll get a value. As for the Hostel, highlight the incredible kindness of Toña its owner and the authenticity of an old house full of details and antiques. A very complete and quality table breakfast is included in the price (104€). As for the room we would have appreciated less old and more practical furniture.

A romantic getaway is an escape.

This hostel is located inside Peratallada and can only be reached on foot, so I recommend a few bags. The owner is very kind and available. The room has a very comfortable bed. Breakfast in the norm. Inside the room there was no line. To not pay for parking, the hostel releases a card to put on the dashboard.

We stopped by one night.

We stayed there for 14 days and were very impressed with the hotel, the village and the warmth of the hostess Tonya. The breakfast is great, unfortunately for our circumstances, a little late, at nine o'clock. Before that there is no bread in the village! The rooms and hallways are furnished with beautiful antiques in keeping with the medieval style of the house and the village flair.

As charming as ever

This is our second visit to Peratallada and to Hostal Blau. We fell in love with this place first time round and it is still as marvellous as ever.

Hostal Blau is an excellent guesthouse run by a lovely lady. The style, furnishings and decor combine to make it the sort of house you’d love to own.

This time we booked a Superior Double and that was certainly a good choice as our room, which is just off a charming internal courtyard, comprises a sitting room, huge bedroom and en-suite facilities further on. It is really lovely and the only slight downside is that in the sitting room area, the partition wall is a false wall, so you can pretty much hear everything that goes on in the adjoining room.

The hotel also provides a handy little tea and coffee station from which you can help yourself to a welcoming cuppa. Breakfast is typical continental fare of fresh fruits, juices, cold meats and cheese and is nicely presented and very tasty.

All in all, Hostal Blau is a lovely place to stay in an equally lovely village and we are already looking forward to making a return visit.

One of our favourite places to stay.

The Hostal has the charm of the medieval mansions in the area, is decorated with a mixture of antique styles. The room is large, comfortable and clean; the breakfast is generous and of good quality. Why 2 stars? We chose to manage this site because we had a wedding all day nearby. The accommodations obviously have an entrance time but nowhere said that it was too late. The case is that we arrived at 8pm and the hostess received us by saying:  If we were to call and not pick it up, we thought that we would no longer have to come, we would have preferred to come with a personal card and sell it on Saturday. We would have brought a wedding dress that had been finished all day nearby.

I was treated very badly.

It's a cozy and romantic hotel with a lot of charm.The rooms are very clean and with a magnificent decoration.The attention they have given us has continued to be great, it has informed us and advised us on places to go and where to eat.It is very quiet and is located in one of the narrow cobblestone alleys and very close to the parking lot.

We stayed for a few days during the end of May.The hostel is lovely with very good taste.The rooms were large and comfortable.The owner is very affectionate.The breakfast is simple but rich that is eaten in the yard.The village is super pretty.
