The houses, although quite close to each other, guarantee privacy and each has a private outdoor space with a table and hammocks. The interior of the house we were staying in was a duplex with the room on the upper floor open to the living room-dining room-kitchen area below. Good care and equipment. To improve the cleanliness (there was plenty of dust) and the living room sofa, which was very uncomfortable. The enclave is spectacular, about 900 meters above the northern coast of Tenerife, and close to the life of Chanajiga, the starting point of numerous hiking routes through the canary rainforests and the Golden Aleva.

Good option to visit Tenerife

We were in one of these beautiful houses on the night of November 18th. The reception was great - everything was shown and explained to us. Wine, fruit, milk and water... everything there to welcome. In this accommodation there is everything, really everything you need to make it comfortable. A perfect kitchen outfit for several people. Ceilings and towels, sunbeds, umbrellas, sunbeds and and and so on. 2 times a week comes a supernet Spanish woman - cleans and... washes the guard - what a luxury who seeks peace and perfect seclusion, is really very well up here!!! Now comes a small but there is no Internet and unfortunately since we had very little activity in the first week, we had to stay here, and unfortunately, we had to have a very bad weather, and we also had to have a very cold room at the top of our house - and we should have a lot of room for everyone to stay in the room.

Finka in the mountains...

Our stay in Rural Las Llanadas

We’ve booked two weeks to stay in El Ciruelo, one of the four cottages on the Finca Las Llanadas. Before our stay we had already a good impression of this cottage. We loved it. The Finca has a beautiful garden with nice flowers and plants surrounded by the cottages. There is a little fountain in the middle where the birds everyday come to drink. You hear the canaries singing in the tree. The cottage was cosy, clean and with all you need in the kitchen. The bedroom was superb with a delicious double bed, also for a large person as me. Our pictures will give you an impression of it all.  
When we arrived in the evening we were welcomed by Carlos. A very gentle person. First we had to tell him how dangerous the road was to the Finca. From the highway we followed the instructions from our navigation. Don’t do that! The nice lady sends you over narrow, steep roads climbing to the top. The Finca is situated at 900 meters high. My wife was so frightened. Fortunately Carlos explained us another road to go down, longer but less steep. It’s better to phone Carlos when you leave the highway. 
In the neighbourhood you can find several supermarkets. Most near is little supermarket in Palo Blanco near petrol station. Carlos will tell you where you can find. The groceries are rather cheap in Tenerife, also the gasoil. We paid 0,95 euro/litre.
Restaurants are not in the closest neighbourhood the Finca. We went mostly to the restaurant during our trips or prepared a dinner in the kitchen.  
Our favourites were to go to Parque National Del Teide or walks in the neighbourhood of the Finca. The nature is so beautiful. We went three times to the volcano. Not so far away from the Las Llananas. Good indicated and good roads to the Parque. It’s so impressive and so various. El Portillo is an information centre and botanic garden. During our stay we visited also the pittoresque towns Orotava and Garichico at the coast. Parque del Drago is also interesting to visit. We avoided the crowded beaches.
At Llanadas it was regularly cloudy. Normal for a location higher on the mountain. The mornings started often with sunshine. When the clouds arrived we decided to go to Parque National Del Teide, always sunny at 2200 meters or to the Oceanside. 
But …………when it was a really sunny day we preferred to stay at the Finca in the garden with a nice book. You felt you in the garden of Eden with all the typically birdsongs around you. Regularly passed birds of prey from the mountains. 
We like to thank Carlos for his hospitality on our arrival. We were very surprised t receive a basket full of fruit, some local beers, a bottle of red wine, juices, etc. A good start for our holidays at the finca.
And one advice: maybe it’s better not to use your navigation if you don’t want the shortest way. When we stopped, we didn’t have any more problems with narrow steep roads. 



Excellent stay in El Ciruelo, one of the four cottages on the Finca.

We stayed for four nights in this estate and enjoyed it very much.The surroundings, the garden and the houses are fantastic.Although relatively isolated, they represent an excellent starting point for discovering the north of the island of Tenerife.

Excellent option for rural tourism

The house we stayed in was perfectly equipped, furnished, decorated in the style of a rural farmhouse, being spacious, comfortable and quiet.The vicinity of the estate is really a frozen area arranged with great taste.

 Enchanted rhinestone

It's really nice and cozy as in the pictures. The only thing - don't be fooled by the photo of the jacuzzi - it's one in four houses and it has the scent of humidity. We never stopped swimming. The area is well cared for and nice. The house has everything you need, including a tile, refrigerator, heaters, teapot, tea and coffee. In December it's pretty cool +15, sometimes 19. It's nice that the temperature of the water in the shower is steadily hot - we can stay for a very long time without problems. The house is very clean and creates a feeling of winter romance. It should be nice to hide from the heat in the summer. The place is high enough for guests if you try to go on the straight roads, but you guarantee much more gasoline.

It's a lovely place.

We went to this Finca to celebrate a family event. We used the coordinates that appear in the address of the hotel, as Google maps or another app allows you to miss out. We occupied three houses, which are prettier. All of them have a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, and one or two bedrooms. Also they had a ceramic glass kitchen, microwaves, cafeteria, toaster, TV... Finally, everything needed to live comfortably. As a gift there was fresh fruit and a bottle of water. There was also coffee, sugar, a bottle of water, milk and juice of fruit. To clean there were products, which are not found in other apartments or fincas. But the most important thing we found there: the calm water, the absence of fine wine, the wonderful views of the plant, and the enjoyment of the room.

 Excellent Hotel Rural in the North of Tenerife

This beautiful rural house on a hill in a good strategic point to climb the Teide. Away from the cities, in a natural and isolated context (car necessary), it was an excellent choice. Everything is taken care of in the smallest detail, the bottle of wine in the kitchen, the homage fruit of the house, the accommodations in the bathroom, the Canarian music available, the fresh rose in the room. Very comfortable the bed in the flattened room (very elegant) and adorable the outdoor garden so rigorous and well-groomed. Really great!

We already knew the house and that is why we chose it for this special celebration.The bedroom was beautifully prepared for us.The jacuzzi, the garden, walks through the Chanajiga Natural Park... everything perfect.

A special celebration!!!

The four houses are beautiful, comfortable and very well equipped. ¡The best comfort of the bed! The hot jacuzzi overlooks the landscape. It allows you intimacy because it is very well located. We had free parking. It is well located for excursions and hiking trails and away from the tourist crowds. The owners are very friendly and attentive. We look forward to returning.
