We stopped for dinner at the restaurant and decided to stay to sleep because it was 11 o'clock at night and we were six hours away from the hotel.The rooms are nice, spacious and clean.The bed was comfortable and the place was quiet.A good place to spend a night an hour from Madrid.

Nice stop two hours south of Madrid on route A4, near the windmills in Don Quijote, by Cervantes.
Comfortable rooms with a restaurant and bar that served meals and tapas. Great place for regional specialties.  Minutes from m Consuegra windmills

Low-quality menus: spaghetti, vulgar, merluza, such as plastic, round beef, no quedaba, banana mouse, neither, tasteless bakery, potatoes, an aggression to the palate. Low- elaborate and low-quality menus.

One and no more, St. Thomas...

Typical Mancha hotel. Of course there is not all the modernity of the rooms in the current buildings, but this establishment has the charm and warmth of the past. The price-quality ratio is unparalleled, the restaurant and bar offer quality dishes and tapas, with regional products.

A must-see step

It's impossible to describe how rude the bartender who serves the bar was. I can't understand how they have this gentleman catering to customers. With some objections and a very wrong tone to talk to customers.

Camarero is poorly educated and unpleasant.

We were there eating back from a long trip and the first one looks old, but the food we ordered was plentiful and of good quality.

From the parade

We found this hotel as we drive by it on our way South/North to get the ferry from Bilbao or Santander. We decided to stay as it was almost half way. We were not disappointed- we had booked initially for one day (without free cancellation) but our ferry was cancelled and so we did need to cancel the room and rebook. We were not charged for the cancellation which we felt was a really nice gesture. It’s a family run hotel and we arrived to a roaring fire in the lounge and a comfy bedroom. We had a drink in the bar and could have had tapas there but decided on a meal in the restaurant- it was a Sunday night and I think we were the only ones there. The service was brilliant, the food excellent and the place was spotless. I think we’ve found our regular ‘stop off’ point from now on! Easy parking too.

Great little hotel

Why anyone would give more than one star is beyond me. Two other people were staying when we stayed, the room has no heating, in fact it does not have most of the facilities it lists as having. The furniture is fit only for the skip. It really was one of those rooms you walk in to and know immediately you have got it wrong. The place really is awful, dark and dingy, reports of it being a traditional Spanish hotel are hogwash. You have been warned.

Dreadful Place

This charming little hotel in the Mancha, at the foot of the hill of the white mills of Don Quixote, this charming hotel in a very Spanish style, offers classic rooms with good bedding, proper service and a quality restaurant.

Quality/Price ratio is unbeatable

The location is good: close to the highway, but it doesn't bother me at all. The room has good accommodation, the beds are ok. The air conditioning worked, even in August. A great nice bath, but here are a few accommodations. At least, you could stay here for four days. This, for example, because the restaurant is very well watered. Also, the food is very formal, but the service is very free. For 13,50 euros, we should go through a regional meal, which we could not even eat with a lot of salt and salt. We could not even eat this kind of wine, but we could not eat this kind of salad. We could not even eat this kind of wine with a lot of salt.
