Came for a week to chill and see some friends that live in roquetas. Been lots of times but first time at the fenix. For the price these apartments are fantastic. Would definately stay again. Don't let your taxi driver get confused with fenix families hotel. We got dropped off there and it was wrong. So tell them the road name. Great holiday.

Weeks holiday

First of all we would like to say Thank you to the Management of Fenix Apartamentos.
We stayed 2 weeks 2 Adults & 2 Kids and had a great time.
The Beach is only 5-10 minutes walk, the rooms are spacious, we stayed on the 5th floor (which is 4th in the UK).
The bedding was clean, the apartment , bathroom and the balcony were clean (had a table with 4 chairs on the balcony).
We had enough of pillows, blankets, sheets super white,  4 big & 4 small towels.
All sheets and towels get changed once per week.
If you want to have an air-conditioner in your apartment , please book this in advance. We sent an email and got this sorted, an extra pay is €5 per day.
We used swimming pool once as because we are beach lovers.
The swimming pool is clean.
The receptionist and all staff members are also extremely helpful.
Free Wi Fi ,however you have to get your codes renewed, also there is one code for each device. We had 4 devices, so 4 codes and new renewal for every device.

Also there is a small and comfy coffee shop across the rod,just 50 meters from the main entrance of Fenix Apart., the name of the coffee shop is "Coffee @ Tea Shop", CHASCAS-CHAI.
There you can enjoy your coffee, cup of tea, hot chocolate with pastry or breakfast, great variety. While we were enjoying our coffee, our kids had grapes, complimentary. We liked the service and the  lady owner in the shop is very polite.

On the way to the beach, on the main street there is local bakery "CRUZ Y GARCIA" Pasteleria - Cafeteria, we always were buying freshly baked biscuits or pastries for the kids.

On the same street 30 meters further there is cute candy shop "LA TIENDA DE LAS CHUCHES". Our kids absolutely loved it. They were stopping by every single day. 
Great shop for souvenirs ideas, we brought a lot of  lollipops, chewing gums, crisps,etc.,for back home.

Supermarket just 5-10 minutes walk "MERCADONA", you can get there anything you need, very handy and reasonably priced.

There is a Shopping Center " GRAND PLAZA", great place to go shopping, 20 minutes by bus.

On the beach we rented sunbeds and an umbrella for 2 weeks rather than looking for the new spot we had our sunbeds everyday reserved for us, 1st line closer to the sea. The name of the place where you can rent sunbeds if I am not mistaken is "JESUS", the 1st one on your left when you enter the beach area, its on your left from the coastguards & toilets.

Overall, enjoyed it and can highly recommend.

Great Stay, Thank you

Very clean and in a great location, clean towels delivered twice a week. The apartment was spacious with all basic facilities. Had to pay extra for an air conditioning unit, but it was well worth it. Friendly receptionist very helpful, Would stay again 

Clean, good location 

The location is lovely, near beach and lots of bars and restaurants. Has a nice pool area. Apartments are quite basic, but were clean and fine for us. Lovely large balcony overlooking beach to the left and mountains to the right. Overall we were quite happy. You dont get any maid service, just towels replaced once throughout the week, but that didnt overally bother us.

Basic but nice apartments

Very basic.  Looks like noone has used this resort in the last ten years.   With a little tlc if could be okay but this part of Roquetas is very quiet, and if you want to sit in an apartment watching tv or walk up and down a promenade for miles with nothing around or open, this is the place for you.

Very very very quiet

Basic hotel in center of town easy walking distance to all shops and bars and only 5 mins walk to very large sandy beach. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and all was ok but very basic hotel rooms clean and staff friendly. this is a great base ias you can walk every where without the need of a car. quiet place easy to find. not many facilities. would stay here again but only for a short stay. good value for money .
