First of all, we were surprised that we were not registered. We were a group of 5 and we were not asked for the ID. And of course, we were not given a bill. The treatment by the man we were looking at was humiliating. I had never been treated so badly in a hostel. We simply asked him to open the store door so that we could get our bicycles out, which we had left there when we arrived. It seems that this individual, who was in the bar next door to the hostel, was bothered to get up and open the door. Everything was very loud, rude and rude. He even suggested that we go somewhere else when the saying that we were not speaking in that way. We were perplexed by the attack, someone who is not able to speak loudly, should not be able to control the face of the public.

This is the first time I've been able to do this.

I can say that I had never felt so badly mistreated in an accommodation before.What was originally a simple reception call to get our bicycles out of the garage, turned into a direct attack on us with bad gestures, pitched pitches, and even the threat that if we didn't like it, we could leave when we told him not to talk to us in such a way.Apparently, we had molested him at his mealtime. Incredible!! Terrible disgust and perplexity at seeing how that man took his license to treat us in such a horrible way.

I would never go back.

Minimum service. Very noisy. Obsolete facilities. Cold 10 degrees and the heating off. No one to whom to turn physically, we should call on the phone. The treatment of the staff in those moments that is wonderful, but since they are not either most of the time so we should not appreciate it either. The price is very good but there is no service.

The minimum.

Very central location, but old facilities. The shower curtain, clean but obsolete. The coffee shop couldn't be put up for showers. The mattresses are a bit old-fashioned. Remains acceptable, but the price/quality ratio is bad. There are hotels at that price with completely new facilities.

It's not what I expected.

My wife and I stayed at Hostal Alfonso whilst walking the Camino. It is centrally situated for the town centre and also the Camino route.
After about two weeks sleeping In dorms it was great to have our own bed and shower.
On arrival check in was friendly but the owner did not speak any English but this was no great issue and we got by with our little Spanish. 
Added bonus was the drying line on the roof.
I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Great Budget Hotel

The exceptional welcome received in this accommodation, which, despite the precariousness of an outdated infrastructure, has the best resource, the human, represented in as friendly a couple as it manages it.

An exceptional reception is provided.

When we came back from a vacation, we spent a night there because we had to go through. We chose it for the price, 35€ without breakfast. We were surprised by the friendliness and kindness of the couple carrying it, very close and helpful people. It can be parked a few meters away, has a staircase to get to the rooms, and it is a little outdated, but it does its job very well. The room they gave us has 2 beds, all the necessary furniture and a full bathroom, basic, with a bathroom and a curtain, without a bathroom, and without a hair curtain. The mattresses are very hard and the pillows are fine, but they sleep very well. They kept the heating up to a couple, I had to clean the radiators (one in the room in the lavatory) and clean the bathroom, and we closed the door because we could not open the bathroom.

Good experience

Nice and comfy stay at Hotel Alfonso VI.
Warm rooms in a narrow, quiet street. Cheap accomodation with not so varied breakfast, but enough for the money spent. Hot water shower (very nice ;-) ) and public parking nearby.

Family trip

I stayed in the hostel and, for the price charged, I must admit that the price is quite reasonable. The room is of a comfortable size with very decent beds. The staff is very friendly. To highlight the cleanliness of the room and the accommodation in general.

The good news is the quality of the price.

All right, the right place to sleep on the way along the Camino de Santiago. Clean and close to the train station. Maybe too expensive, 25 euros, not to include breakfast or anything. Not a bad option at all.
