Excellent hotel, lovely clean rooms and very quiet. There is a kitchen and meals are taken at the fun albergue close by. Easy to find right on the Camino, would highly recommend. Lovely friendly owner.

Lovely hotel on the Camino

I stayed by myself and had a fairly big room with a big window onto the street. The room was cheery on a somewhat cloudy day.  it was very clean and modern and Street sounds were not a problem. Lots of hot water. I was glad I had found out (from TripAdvisor) about checking in at the Aubergue de jardin as I was entering the town from the Camino.   The check-in went very well and they walked me over to my hotel room to show me how to get in the front door. If I hadn't read TripAdvisor, I would probably still be standing at the entrance now.   My reservation was booked by an agency and they didn't tell me either.  Breakfast was at the aubergue and somewhat crowded with pilgrims but it was quite adequate and staff friendly. I found the town surprisingly interesting to walk around.

A cheery room on a Cloudy day. Pay attention to check in elsewhere

The title is just that I had to wait whilst a cleaner got the (presumably) owner come from another property to let me and about 4/5 others who had arrived to check in.  However it didn't detract from my stay there whilst walking the Camino Frances. A good room, plenty of space with a shower.  The evening pilgrims meal is in another café building about 400 yards away.  The food there for both the evening meal and breakfast was good and on balance better than others during my walk.  A good number of pilgrims there, only drawback is that on a table of 7 we were only given one bottle of wine as it is a bottle per table - however we got that changed!  The hotel is a little way from the centre but only 500/600 yards away.

Good when you get in

Nice hotel rural about 20 km from Leon. Very clean and well supplied. It’s an excellent place to stay if you need a private room. Small village but with lots of Roman structures remaining. Great village to explore. One note - check in for this hotel is at the Albergue El Jardín. Excellent meals at the site of the Albergue as well. It’s about a block from the Albergue to the Hotel. Camino 2019

We stayed one night while walking the Camino. This was truly one of the nicest accommodations we had during our 25 days, so far, of walking in Spain. The room was spacious, modern, had good beds, nice linens, a little balcony and a lovely bathroom with good shower. The hotel is located on a quiet street with little traffic. We could hear the room next door somewhat but they were quiet at a decent time so it wasn’t a problem. We would definitely recommend a stay here!  



Lovely, Quiet, Modern

I stayed here in January  2015 are spending a few days in the awful San Martin Hostal down the round (see my review for it ! I gave it one star and it wasn`t even worth that).This place is very nice,modern,clean,warm,good wi-fi.I found it when I got kicked out the San Martin awful Hostal and went to the patisserie across the road (they do good food and very nice fried egg and bacon baguette)Anyhow the Lady who worked in there is very helpful and I got booked in here and it was luxury compared to the previous  San Martin rubbish dump hostal I had been in previously and the awful hosts there! I assume the Lady is the owner as she works in both the food place and here.She could be more helpful in both venues as well!

This is a newer facility with spacious rooms, ensuite bathrooms, heating, and a fan. There is a patio with a sink where you can wash your clothes and racks to dry them on. There is a comfortable common room and a kitchen with the basics. 
I noticed in several reviews that people weren’t aware of the requirement to check in at an albergue that’s about a 3-minute walk away. I made my reservation through Booking, and as I do every evening as I walk the Camino, checked my reservation for any additional information. The checkin procedure was spelled out clearly, but if I hadn’t looked, I wouldn’t have known. Over the course of this trip, I’ve received numerous emails from various properties (via Booking) with information about checkin procedures. It should be easy for this property to do the same.
