Traditional luxury countryside retreat in Ibiza. A very special place. Spacious, beautiful & peaceful. The views are incredible. Amazing pool area, everything so well looked after & perfectly clean. Fantastic size room, very comfortable bed, great powerful shower and a large terrace to relax on. The best breakfast with the ingredients fresh from the farm. A very hardworking family team to cater to your every need.

Perfect countryside retreat

Family businesses like these should be treasured. Manicured landscape and property with amazing produce (for breakfast!) Hardworking and the friendliest people. I’d strongly recommend to go here, we’ll come back for sure. Julia and Michel.

Lovely & great place, came back more time,during the last 33 years is my second town  and my place of satisfacsion way of life, my life .  My friends, my second family, my soons &  my girl frind live &sucessful time in the most place of the world.

Another perfect stay! Great hospitality, clean rooms, owesome breakfast. Truly paradise. Great location with the beach in vincinity and many really nice restaurants. Pool very clean and easy parking. No negative points to mention. A real good location to come to rest, however, a thirty minute drive from the airport and the buzz. Hope to return real soon. Thanks again

Feels like coming Home, but then better

Can Planells is gorgeous - we stayed for 4 nights in early October, the weather was still warm, the island was calming down after a busy season, the roads, beaches, restaurants, shops were quiet, it was a great time to visit. Can Planells was just a lovely place to stay, Juan made us feel very welcome, kindly upgraded our room choice, he was full of useful local knowledge, breakfasts were delicious and wholesome, everything home grown or home made (the trees on the farm were dripping in avocados which were sooooo creamy - thank you Juan for the 2 you gave me to take home, they were the best ever), the gardens, room, pool all just lovely. I would go back in a heartbeat to this super cool and stylish gem of a place.

A special place

Can plannels is a place where you immediately feel great.
The house, the swimming pool and the beautiful garden will charm you.
But this place is more than that… Juan and his full team make everything perfect with simplicity!
They are all very friendly.
The place is very clean.
The breakfast is a treat you won’t forget, made with homegrown avocados and good products.
It’s hard to leave this place when you are used to the excellent service, the delicious and healthy breakfast and the beautiful surrounding.
I thank all the team and specially Esther who warmly welcomed us and gave very good addresses in Ibiza!:)
It was our second time at Can Plannels and we are looking forward to coming back shortly!

Great place to stay in Ibiza

After reading all the positive reviews about Can Planells, we booked a room for 3 nights in September. We think we did the right thing by choosing to stay in the northern part of the island as it is only 25 minutes from the city center where all the clubs are and yet so quiet and lovely being in the countryside... We fell in love with the island and would look for no place else to stay rather than Can Planells in our next visit... 
We loved the agroturism concept and Can Planells is the perfect example... Beautiful farm house, very nice rooms scattered in the beautiful garden. Joan, the owner was very friendly, always there to help, give suggestions etc. We arrived late/after check in hours but Joan greeted us very warmly and made us feel sincerely welcome at his property... 
We stayed in a standard room, it was very nice; decent size, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a small terrace... The breakfast was also very nice, home grown tomatoes, delicious omlette... 
They also have a very nice pool if you feel like  staying in... But, I would suggest a rental car and to drive around the island, the country side is simply beautiful and there are plenty of beaches all within 10-15 minutes drive...

Perfect stay

We spent a week in Can Planells for family vacation. We loved the traditional buildings an the beautiful gardens of the property with its atmosphere giving you inner peace.Can Planells was our oasis of serenity after long days of beach, hippie markets, cultural visits...Looking at the sunrise on the roofterrace of our room with the cock crowing was heavenly. The whole property is of a perfect cleanliness and Joan an his team are wonderfully welcoming and warmly. The breakfast, consisting of local products and products of the agroturismo itself, is simply amazing. We really felt at home during this week of vacation.

BACK TO THE ROOTS

We were 4 days in Can Planells in September. The hotel is really lovely, the garden is beautiful ant the swimming pool nice. The breakfast was fantastic with products of the property or of the neighbours.
The team is very nice and welcoming. 
Only our junior suite wasn't so perfect, because there is no safe in the room, the air conditioning didn't work so well and we heard the noise of the kitchen in the morning. And it isn't practical to have the bed upstairs the mezzanine. It wasn't a good value for money

Beautiful agroturismo

Our second stay in two years at this lovely hotel.  Everything is perfectly done - from the beautiful gardens, the fab honesty bar, comfortable and peaceful rooms and attentive and friendly staff.  There will definitely be a third visit!
