We travelled from the south of Spain by car and really needed a place to relax and take it easy
The apartment with the sea facing balcony at Harrigain fit the bill perfectly.
With two bedrooms adjoining bathrooms and a lovely open plan living and kitchen area was only topped off by the exterior of the property as it nestles perfectly with its surroundings and stunning views of the surrounding area.
We found the service to match.
A nice distance from town and fantastic opportunities for local cuisine.
All in all a very very pleasant surprise.

Short Break 

We didn’t have a good experience staying here.  Our main complaint is that there was no hot water in the kitchen or bathroom (that meant no shower).  The water was only slightly warm.  Our other complaint is that it was cloudy and chilly our second day, but the heat wasn’t turned on so we couldn’t use it.  We had to ask for a hair dryer.  Do we have to ask for hot water and heat too?  The furniture is basic throughout and the small flat screen TV is very old. The kitchen didn’t have any cereal bowls or bowls of any kind.  We could hear the TV and someone snoring in the adjoining apartment from our living room.  The bathroom only had 1 hook for 4 towels.  Checkout the day we left was very disorganized. On the plus side, there is a great view from the terrace overlooking the coastline.  The owner is friendly and speaks good English.  The bed was comfortable and the WiFi was very good as well.  The interior of the apartment was attractive with a stone wall and wood beam ceiling.  However, we were charged too much for what we got in return.  Yes, the rural location and scenic view was great, but the apartment itself definitely fell short of what we expected given the hefty price.  We felt very positive when we arrived, viewed the property, and received a friendly welcome which included a gift of garden vegetables.  However, we would not stay here again based on our experience and the price we paid, and can’t recommend it to other travelers unless you are satisfied with just a great view.

Can’t Recommend Staying Here Despite the Great View

We stayed at Harrigain for 2 nights. The apartments are situated in a peacul location with great view to the ocean, not far away from the city (~5 min by car). Our apartment was big enough, clean, quiet and well equipped. The hostess was really helpful, proving us all the necessary information about the city.

NICE EXPERIENCE!

This house is situated in a spectacular location. The ocean is just outside the window. There is a nice yard with places to sit overlooking the sea in all directions. The host is very nice and helpful, and breakfast is also recommended. It's just a 10 minutes drive from San Sebastian, and it's completely quiet and rural. There is a small farm with a vegetable garden and some chickens. Very recommended.
