Just returned from this hotel today, there are a lot of things that could make this hotel better, very tired and sometimes shabby, saw a man nearly have his eye taken out by very tatty parasols that had 5 or 6 spikes exposed, reported to management and it was removed but only that one, others left in same condition, there is supposed to be no smoking around the pool but not policed and so many smokers around children by the pools, also no ashtrays so imagine the mess, yuk., dining room lovely, food varied and nice, waiters brilliant, extra bed in room means no floor space and very cramped, but only for sleeping so just about bearable. Not elderly or disabled friendly for so many reasons, lots of steps even to toilets, slopes and hill not good for elderly and no accessibility pool for people whose mobility is restricted, pool that slopes so that you can walk in to and not have to negotiate steps would be nice even for children. Very noisy, doors slamming , people not caring about other people’s peace and quiet, very thoughtless. No tea making facilities, you have to pay 10 Euro to hire tatty towels and another amount not refundable for the use of a safe. Entertainment was awful and the singer was the worst I’d ever heard, no courtesy bus to anywhere and bus stop down very steep hill. Having said all that if your just looking for a mediocre hotel in a beautiful resort in a very quiet area then it’s ok, but it is what it is, a three star hotel passed its best but in a stunning location that does good food, wouldn’t go back as a couple , only went as took elderly mother and grandchildren but it was a lovely holiday as long as you lower your expectations.

Honest review

UPGRADE to deluxe room. Although we did not have a nice outlook (above vent from restaurant) our room in the deluxe block was excellent. Comfortable beds, quiet - very little noise. Good tv. Lovely bathroom facilities and everything immaculate. No maids on a Thursday but not a problem.  Restaurants are 3 star but food adequate. Best desserts ever though! Its a shame the waiters clear the plates by banging them on a plastic bin which is very noisy and is only shielded from the diners by a bit of screening. This could be done better by installing a proper area -  make the restaurant much quieter! The waiters mostly very good. Couple of times our drinks never arrived at all but not the end of the world.  The staff here are very good and efficient. The hotel is clean and well kept.  Although the pool area is quite cramped, there were always plenty of sunbeds and parasols and the pool we sat around every day (deluxe block) was immaculately clean and lovely and cool for the very hot weather we had.  Beach  was just a few steps down from the hotel.  Loved the ferry from the jetty right next to the hotel too.  Good local shops/bars etc but not many.  not much in the way of entertainment in the adult bar area but we didn't mind as we sat overlooking the bay with a few drinks most evenings which was lovely. So to sum up - a very relaxing and enjoyable week in the sun - great room, average food, very clean hotel with good staff.   recommend  upgrade to deluxe room and get in restaurants early.  

Relaxing week by the pool!

My husband and me booked this Suneo hotel for a week in July 2021. We booked a refurbished suite and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, but it was let down by TUI big time due to not being honest. One part was shut, that meant one bar was not open. Staff were all friendly, and the guy in the lobby bar, I believe his name is Jose, was a real hero. I take my hat off to him, he works so very hard to make sure all guests have their drinks. The food was really not exciting at all, deserts were a shambles, and there was not much variety. Breakfast was terrible, especially if you are a vegetarian. I never use myself as a gauge, but my husband, who is really not fussy, was not happy at all. The vicinity is quiet and would not really suit youngsters who want to party. Its more for families and couples. All in all its a nice place, once the rest of the hotel is refurbished and the food quality is improved.

quick getaway

Sadly this hotel is awful, it's noisy, the food is terrible and it's dated. It's not for couples but ok for families. It's closing for refurb I hear and it needs it. The bay is beautiful and the sea is clear here and a few cafes nearby. The rooms at the hotel are dated and smell, it's also so noisy all night long and the food for dinner was uneatable. I think the staff do their best with what they have.

Dated and terrible food

Just returned from a weeks stay. Tbh when I booked it I wasn’t expecting to even get here because of covid. I had already changed my holiday 3 times and this was a last resort, as we were unable to cancel I just kept moving the dates and places. 
We were pleasantly surprised though. 
Arrived and checked in easily enough. Went to room which was in the old wing 7th floor. Partial sea view which was nice and there wasn’t really anything wrong with the room, just dated and I don’t do shower curtains,  but the room was  very clean. Hubby went downstairs to reception to purchase an upgraded room. Lady wasn’t very helpful at all, basically she just said what is wrong with the room. No we couldn’t upgrade as they were full. She never even checked and seemed like she couldn’t be bothered. We stayed where we was but I wished I’d done this upgrade on the Tui app now.  The maids cleaned every day and they did a fab job so no complaints there.
Food generally standard all inclusive buffet. Always found something to eat. 
Waiters and all the bar staff were fab. Always smiling and helpful. 
Pool areas nice and plenty of sun beds.
The bay is absolutely stunning. Just beautiful.
Plenty of covid safe policies in place by the hotel. Pity some of the guests can’t abide by these rules. Signs everywhere saying one family group in the lifts but the amount of people trying to force their way in was a joke! Just say no and shut the doors. Also trying to get too close with their chairs. Tell them to move or get security. 
Evening entertainment wasn’t the best but can’t please everyone.
All in all a very relaxing break and just nice to be able to get away.
All 3 hotels have been taken over and are closing for refurbishment. One 5 star and 2 4 stars so would be nice to return to see the changes, although they aren’t going to be all inclusive so I believe. 
Just upgrade like I wished we had and I’m sure you’ll have a fab relaxing time.
Thank you to all the staff even if we couldn’t get accommodated for the upgraded room.

Relaxing break away

Long overdue return to a family favourite before it closes for a couple of years for complete reburbishment. Excellent service from all staff and the usual good food options - particularly fish. First time we had gone all-inclusive and it worked well. Enjoy while you can as it closes late October



Will really miss this family favourite

We returned from our 10 day holiday on Saturday 2.10.21.
We had a lovely time . Or room was great (1116). Air con and everything else worked. 
Maids did a thorough clean every day.
Bar staff excellent particularly waiter service in the upstairs ( beside reception bar). The waiter there never stopped and went out of his way to serve you.
Food was fine, you certainly wont starve here. Always a decent selection. Restaurant waiter were brilliant too. great service.
Overall we had a great holiday. Its a pity hotel is closing for a year for refurbishment.  But we will be back..

Fantastic holiday

First holiday abroad since covid and a very much needed break. Wish we hadn't bothered.  Hotel is very very dated and grubby. Standard rooms are not habitable, air con doesn't work, bathroom old and don't get me started on the bed springs. Only one restaurant open which was canteen food at best. Reception staff are disinterested in good service. After much complaining we were finally moved to a deluxe room after 3 days of a one week holiday. Deluxe rooms feel like you are in a different hotel. Very fresh decor and clean and tidy. Unfortunately the food and pool areas let the place down massively. Good access to the beach which is nice. Shoutout to the 'The one man show' who was the entertainment one night, you sir were the saving grace of what was otherwise a mediocre hotel which is definitely not a three star.

Book the standard room at your peril

How fantastic to actually get away after a horrible 18 month covid out break.  The hotel had only just opened up for the first time 5 days prior to us arriving. 

Rooms were  ok a bit tired, friends had a room in a different block that had been refurbished and they were a lot nicer. 

The staff in the restaurant were amazing, worked so hard as did the lad in the bar in an evening, how he remembered everyones order i will never know. 

Food was a good selection, repetitive but always fresh, the drinks were all excellent.

The pool area was great and just a few steps down to the beach.

Good 3 star hotel

We throughly enjoyed our week at this hotel. We stayed in a deluxe room with a pool view on the 5th floor which we were very happy with. The bed was really comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was powerful. The room and the hotel in general was very clean and all staff worked hard to ensure this was the case.
The location was perfect if you want a quiet break the beach is beautiful and there’s lots of bars and restaurants to choose from.
The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly and we were able to print our locator and negative Covid test results at reception before we left making our journey through the airport quicker.
We liked the pool snack bar for lunch but as previous people have commented the buffet wasn’t always hot enough so we did choose to eat out most nights.
