The owners of this Posada offer Groupon a night of accommodation with dinner and welcome details for 49 euros. Under special conditions they only put that drinks are not included in the dinner and which was our surprise when calling us telling us that WEEKEND IS NOT INCLUDED! Be careful not to put it anywhere and they are obliged to offer the truth. In addition, the owner literally replies to me: What more can I ask for with the cheap it is. He called Groupon and gave us the reason for the amount of the reservation; but there are only 7 reasons why the person who got it will not be able to receive his money, except that he who has lost it in a house in the hands of the god of the past Tuesdays or Tuesdays, will be able to return it.

The house is very nice, the living room and the bathroom are large and comfortable, as we stayed in October at sunset we put the heater on and when we arrived the atmosphere was very comfortable.The treatment of Mabel and Rick was unbeatable.The house is very well located to visit Leon, Astorga, Valladolid, Zamora, Toro, the lakes of Sanabria, etc. At last we were like home.Thank you very much to both.

Treatment is invaluable.

Very comfortable room in a newly renovated country hotel with large garden and very good restaurant.  Very convenient location near motorway but very quiet in a country village with a bar and interesting 300 year old bodegas (wine stores) built into the hills.  Some very friendly villages offered us some of their wine.  The couple who run the posada were very friendly and welcoming to us and our dog and we were able to eat outside on the terrace with the dog. Nice touches such as chocolates and sparkling wine in the room.

I feel very much identified with the previous opinion. the beautiful house, clean rooms, two-bedroom living room, despite requesting a marriage bed; they have had very ugly details with us, such as not making our bed, (we travel a lot from rural tourism and this is the first time we do) or putting a roll of toilet paper on us when it just leaves, (less bad we take it by car), but that's true, the room came in to close the windows that we leave open ventilating pedals, the desuno pan and they told me exactly the same answer, we didn't have pan because we didn't have as many dinners the night before. in the spa (we don't rent) is a spirit with chorros and a sauna in a super room.

Beautiful and clean but there are better places

The house is very nice and is well situated to see the whole area of Valladolid, Zamora and León. The rooms are large and very clean. Things we didn't like: breakfast is very normal (packaged pastries, brick juice and a yogurt) but when we ordered bread to roast it he told us that since there were no dinners the night before there was no bread left for breakfast? The next day there was bread. We got an offer in which we were given a bottle of wine and had to order it on the last day (on other occasions those details are in the room when you arrive).

It's a beautiful but spacious stay with ugly details.

If one is looking for a rural, well-kept and clean inn, this is a good option. With its own ecological garden, they serve an excellent meal. The personal and friendly treatment is given by the marriage that governs this small inn of six rooms. However, it lacks the facilities necessary to call it a hotel. Much less than 4 stars according to some websites. The decoration is austere - rural, perhaps too. Although there is little imagination in it and much affection from the owners.

Good rural hostel, but no es a hotel

very friendly owners who speak excellent english,excellent room and food of a high standard.Just off the motorway and ideal position for a nights stay for driving between portugal and santander.

great hotel of character

This small hotel has been open about 2 years. It is in a small village 10 miles NW of Benavente in Spain. The couple that own it (a Belgian man and a Spanish woman) inherited her grandparents house in the village, and completely renovated it.

It is a little hard to find, and not well signed in the village, the chances are that you will need to stop to ask the way from someone in the village.

The owners are very enthusiastic, friendly and helpful, and have done a good job in converting the place. It is comfortable rather than luxurious.

We paid €155 for a double room, dinner and breakfast. I have no idea what the breakdown was, but the room was as we did not get a bill, just a total. I think the room was €70 plus €12 for breakfast, tax would be around €10 so dinner was 63€ for 2.

The price was perhaps on the high side for the hotel - there was no heating on in our room and night was distinctly autumnal. But the friendliness of the owners made up for any shortcomings.

I would recommend it for a stop for anyone travelling north south or east west across the Iberian peninsula and who pass this way.

Very friendly owners

On arrival met by the owners and given choice of room. Nothing was to much trouble. Beautiful hotel and village with very friendly people. It was our wedding anniversary and my wife was presented with a bouquet of flowers by the owners.
