We stayed in a room with a stunning view over the Segura mountains. We visited in a summer heatwave so air conditioning was nice just to cool the room down but in the evening a cool breeze comes up anyway so you can open the window. The room must be really cosy in winter, there is a little open fire and some wood. The bathroom is fine, clean and has all you need. We ate in their restaurant as well - again, on the terrace the views are stunning.  The food is very good, simple Spanish country food and the service is excellent, with good explanations of things. You might not want to drive up the road in the dark, but it didn't seem so bad going back down in daylight! Thoroughly recommended, so glad we went - and amazing value for money.

Amazing views from room, excellent value

Nice and cosy room in the beautiful village of Segura de la Sierra. Location is nice with beatiful view on the bell tower and the countryside. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Breakfast was excellent too.

Cosy and nice view

Excellent location on top of the mountain inside a white village that offers panoramic 360 views. What better way to wake up in the morning and be greeted with breathtaking view from the bedroom window? Our one bedroom apartment is so charming and clean we absolutely love it. The Spanish host, Mercedes, is friendly and efficient. We definitely will come back again. 

Best location within the national park

Quite difficult to find, but just ask for directions at the restaurant owned by the same people. Clean rooms although some furniture well worn. Breakfast good sitting outside the restaurant. The dinner wasn't as good. Maybe eat before you arrive. The views from the room are stunning. The owners are friendly and helpful. The facilities in the room are more than expected. Hob, fridge etc. 
The apartments are almost the last at the top of the hill. Plenty of parking around. Sunday not much open. 

Great value, great views

This room was great value and had everything we needed for one night. It could do with a bit of an upgrade as the bathroom sink was cracked, but still useable. We were in the red room and had hoped for a view from the window but it was covered completely by a fig tree right outside it! Nevermind, we had fresh figs to eat and only had to walk a bit to see the view from outside! Very good communication with the owners, and breakfast is in their restaurant which is a 5 minute walk away. Very good value. We parked for free on the road above the apartment. This is not a good place to go if you have mobility issues as the town is on the side of a steep hill which you access via lots and lots of steps!! Very quaint town.

Great value

We made a last minute decision to stay in Segura de la Sierra and booked this little apartment via booking.com the evening before. It proved really difficult to find so make sure you have clear directions in advance. Once we finally found it, we were shown to a rather dated little apartment that looked straight out of the 1970s or 80s. But it was clean and pretty cheap. Moreover, it gave us a welcome opportunity to self catering for the night. And best of all, the little terrace provided fantastic views. Breakfast is included and is served in the cafe of the same name but don't get your hopes up as it's pretty basic stuff. It's worth noting that the owner speaks no English and speaks Spanish with a pretty impenetrable accent so communication can be difficult unless you have good language skills.
