Traditional guesthouse with traditional style runner by a local family. Stuff very friendly and helpful, nice location in the neighborhood of "Macarena", good rooms with wardrobe, comfortable bed and sink. In each floor there are two common bathroom. Wi fi very good with a stable.connections perfect also for work. Position of the place next to supermarket and many bar. Atmosphere friendly but not noisy. A place where I will comeback for sure

Great place, friendly stuff, good price 

I'm really disappointed in the management. They will not even help us by refunding part of our stay. I understand they are losing business, but the clients also deserve at least a partial refund. I won't book here again for their lack of compassion for other humans.

Unwilling to work with us amid pandemic

We spent 3 nights at that beautiful hotel with its vibrant colors and with a nice family runing it. It is situated in the old city nearby the Macarena cathedral, there is a bus stop nearby so it is easy to move around and go to city center or wherever you like. we stay at a double room with a private bathroom (thanks for the upgrade 😊), room is big and clean, bathroom is ok, we did not the AC as it was April. there are a supermarket and a nice bakery nearby. we enjoyed our stay in that very authentic neighborhood.

A nice stay in traditional andalucian house

The pension is clean, nice and quite cheap. It is located in traditional andalusian house with inner courtyard. We have no window opened to the street, so it was a little bit strange, but we used the room only for sleeping and didn't matter. Two bathrooms were extremely clean and it seemed to me that there were no guests in the pension excluding us. The place is not in the city center, so it took some time to get to the Old City or Triana (30-40 min walking to the cathedral). All the managers were friendly and polite.

Goog place for short stay

Cons: The decor of the room.  It felt like being in some pre-teens bedroom. The hotel was a 9 euro taxi ride from the bus station.  Long way from where the main tourist attractions were.  The greeting was not warm -- bam, bam, here's your key, here's your room, don't bother me. Shared bath. 

Pros: Basically everything was fine, but I just didn't like the place.  They did a good job arranging a taxi for me when I left.

Long, long way from the bus station ...

The is probably best described as a family run boarding house/pension/hostel. Our room was clean and roomy enough, with a large attached bathroom which had a rather tiny but adequate shower, no plug for the handbasin (I always carry a universal plug though), no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities and no meals offered. 

The family were as helpful as they could be with their limited English, so really were not able to help us with advice about public transport/sightseeing but did have a basic map available, organise a taxi for us and allow me into their reception area to log onto their computer to print out our train tickets. 

The wifi was absolutely fine in our bedroom (#3) on the first floor and the air con efficient and not noisy as others have described. Our room did have a small outside window which did let in a fair amount of light but no view outside. 

The biggest down side about this was the distance from the city. It was a 1.5 km walk in every day to the areas we wanted to see, which were basically all within cooee of the cathedral. I would not recommend staying so far out if you plan to do most of your sightseeing on foot. The hop on hop off bus did have a stop near by so if only staying a day or two that might suit some folk. 

One big plus is we had the best meal we have had so far in Spain at a fantastic local restaurant called conTenedor, however it is essential to book in advance for dinner as everyone knows how good it is and you wont get in as a casual

the plaza outside is a buzz with family activity drinking and eating tapas in the evenings and on our first night we enjoyed watching local young people who brought some music and practiced what appeared to be a rock and roll dance class and were having a lot of fun

"No frills" accomodation a little too far from the centre

We booked one night at this place not realizing it was during the Féria de Sevilla. We we given room
#10 on the upper floor. A nice ryiad type of place. If you are lucky to book a room with an en suite then it's more private. The air conditioner had a loud noise and the shower was super small for your average size person to bath comfortably. The family that own the place are very helpful but tend to be occupied with many other secondary issues. It's near the Macarena Basilica and a good 15-20 minutes to most of downtown cultural places such as the Alcazar and cathedral. Over the course of walking to and from we did discover a few other more interesting small hotels that we're more compatible price wise. Over all the place was ok but for the Féria days it was way overpriced.
