Very, very recommended. Superior quality, very good price. The best accommodation in the area, certainly worth driving a couple of turns to check it out. Excellent cleanliness, magnificent comfort, both delicious breakfast and dinner, better than home!

An unparalleled experience!

Arriving here was a bit scary because I was on the road, but it's very quiet, it's not very crowded and it sleeps very well. Everything is very clean and the attention is luxurious, Ana is super attentive and pleasant makes you feel at home. The fabulous and good breakfast. Covid measures. It's okay....

We spent 2 nights with my partner and we only have good words. A family hostel where we were treated very well and helped with everything we asked for. Large, clean rooms and an excellent large and comfortable bed. A quiet location at the foot of the road, a few kilometers from Sort y Rialp. Good home breakfasts with variety. Generally a place to repeat!

A family hostel with the best care and in a natural environment full of beauty.The food is excellent: traditional style and very high quality.It is an establishment especially recommended for those who want to enjoy the natural charm of the Vall D'Assua, very close to Sort, but with more tranquility and charm.

The location is unbeatable, despite being at the foot of the road, it is very quiet because it is not very busy, the views are unbeatable. The service is very attentive and familiar. The breakfasts are copious and of great quality, with local products. The only thing is, the rooms are a little outdated, but they are pleasant and comfortable.

The truth is that both the quality of the product and the service are great, it is a small hostel, with a very acceptable room and a very good bed, with a perfect location to visit the pallars, the valley of cardós and even take a small getaway to the valley of rice and French Pyrenees.

Good views, quiet and cozy.

Like one of the many snug villages dotting the hillsides, Altron, and the Hostal Vall d'Assua are set in the middle of some fantastic scenery and yet still not far from Sort. Its a great base for exploring locally and well connected for just passing through. After a warm welcome, I stayed in a very comfy room with plenty of hot water to refresh after a long journey and was then lucky enough to enjoy the charming multi-lingual hospitality and genuine local food on offer in the restaurant.
Also had covered parking and all encompassing views from the rear terrace. It felt healthy and refreshing - an effortless stay.

Serene, warm, effortless

It's a great place for those who love solitude. It's surrounded by very picturesque mountains and small mountain villages. The hotel itself is very modest, in general even cozy, the only significant disadvantage of old-fashioned plumbing.
