This clean, very well situated near the beach, can easily be parked and has a bar to consume a little of everything. But the rooms are tiny, the bathroom has no roof, the noise from the bar and the neighboring campsite prevents the rest and the staff, who work for more than twelve hours straight, is very diligent but moody.

Best of all, the location.

It's unfortunate and sad that in a hotel where it's for resting they cut grass at 9 a.m. Never, never will I stay here again and I don't know if I recommend it to anyone staying if they want to rest. Last night we arrived tired of making a route and the last thing we wanted was to wake up to the noise of the lawn mower next to the room. The pieces of dry grass and some stone hit the window of the room, not only the noise but also our physical integrity. If you want to visit a hotel where you can't sleep, I advise you not to come to the Hotel Costa San Juan of the stay. It was not a pleasant experience, we're walking from this place. The last thing they do is to make you feel uncomfortable.

It's a regrettable and unpleasant experience, I'll never go back and I don't advise you to do it.

Great location, but the hotel staff is very odd. They never answer the phone, email or chat. No espanol, no ingles. Was trying to reach them for 5 days. all I heard was : I will answer your question tomorrow. I had to move to another hotel instead. 

Odd beahaviour of the staff

super location, the tapas in the bar was to die for- fresh and tasty. The drinks were very reasonable [only €4.5 for a G&T] the wifi was free and slowish on the campsite but in the bar was fine. Again only €20 per night for a motorhome including water, electric and waste dump. Staff are friendly but very busy due to popularity of the bar. 
The location allowed rides out to visit the local village, beaches and restaurants. which were also great. The only downside was the shower/ toilets= no toilet paper, 2 of the 4 male showers cold only and one cracked base; also not cleaned for 3 days.

The bar is typically Spanish and traditional. The specialty seems to be the tortilla, which you can get here in 5 variants. Above the bar are the bright-eyed rooms, which are locked with a key. The accommodation has a large parking lot, which is free. About 400 m away there are other bars and restaurants. The Irish pub is not very Irish, the hamburger place is expensive, but has a very good beer. Similarly, it is close to a beautiful beach.

I made a reservation on whatssup. The person responsible who met me asked me for my data through that channel without requesting a no card. For reasons other than my will (my partner's illness), I cancelled the reservation in the first hour of the day we arrived. I am aware of what this entails; however, there is no cancellation policy on the web hosting site. Following my message warning that we could not go, he challenged me in a rude, uneducated way, with incomprehensible phrases (in none of his previous messages he was able to write with very little correction), he literally told me LA PROSINIMAGAIS PORTRAL, and BUSSOCIATE OTRO SITE. He recalled that VIVIOUS has a business, which offers a professionalism, and complained that there is no lack of respect for any of those ways, and that he could not at any time reply to any of his previous messages; LA PROSINIMAGAIS PORTRAL, and LOOKIOUS OTRO SITE SITE.

At 9:45 p.m. a waiter without any desire to work tells us that he can't give us anything to eat since Cantabria is in the third phase of Covid Today, January 13, 2022with which the establishment has to close at 11 p.m. I'm sorry to inform this disagreeable waiter that this indication is totally false. Well, I'm sorry yo vivo en Santander no soy idiota and his attitude was a zero. If he tells him that it is forbidden for the interior of the establishment to have tables that exceed the six diners, as well as playing cards without any kind of mascara then. But to avoid unpleasant situations we decided to leave the establishment.

Treat vegetables in the cafeteria.

We stayed and dined in the restaurant.The hotel is great, much better than the 4* hotels we've visited, clean, spacious and with all the amenities.You have the option of apartments and bungalows that are super cool.We sleep for 35€ a bar.Another advantage is that on the lower level you have a super cool restaurant where you can get from tapear, hamburger, entrecot, pizzas, snacks at a super affordable price.We'll repeat.

Surprisingly amazing.

The site is very well located and it's fairly clear to say that I've been drinking coffee for many years and coffee alone, today I went there and had a coffee and a really bad restaurant.

Our opinion is very satisfactory, we have been in a bungalow with 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a living room with sink, fridge and microwave, which has covered our needs more than enough. In the bar we come well and at an affordable price. The treatment of the brilliant bartenders, we could not have treated better. We have felt at home. A hug from Madrid of our little Emma and Nerea, their dad and mom.
