Located up on the hill with walking distance to the lighthouse and famous surf Playa de los Locos - friendly staff - good family double storey apartment with kitchen - great al fresco restaurant across the road - gorgeous ocean and river views

GORGEOUS VIEWS !!!

The place is fantastic, on both sides the sea, beautiful views. I rented Duplex Apartment. Apartment was very nice, two-level. Upstairs bedroom with a double, comfortable bed, terrace. Living room connected to the kitchen downstairs. There is also a spacious bathroom downstairs. The living room has a table, sofa, flat TV. Kitchenette equipped with a stove, fridge, and kettle. Very nice view from the upper terrace.

Amazing place, good apartment

It was the last day of our Northern Spain holiday and were spending a leisurely time driving back towards Santander before the ferry left.
Driving through Suances we spotted El Caserio and decided to stop for a 'snack lunch' before looking around the coast area.
Ordering 2 coffees, we also spotted some Tuna Tortilla, which I enjoy! It was of course, accompanied by bread (which most things are)!
It was very nice and we were served quite quickly.
The restaurant itself is very large and had a rather nice decor with seemingly plenty of staff at hand.
Parking was no problem and it was close to the sea for a walk to take in the views.

An Unplanned Visit

Very nice presentation if this is what you like , my opinion over prices decorated food, dissapointed with salad & fish to share for €20 not inc bread ! staff are stern .  Location is good , would not visit again unless you have moneies for over priced .

Food 

This is a restaurant with a good reputation and is quite good. Seafood dishes are good quality and salads are fresh. They do know how to grill a fish. The wine list is also good, but the waiting times and service are actualy barely acceptable. There is a limited sea view from the terrace. It is somewhat pricy: lunch for 2 is 90 euros at average.
