We have spent several nights in this hotel. It has surprised us greatly by its beauty. It is a plant-based building, with only 9 rooms. The room included a few gardens with many different spaces for relaxation such as tables and chairs, armchairs and even a Balinese bed. All the rooms were occupied, but no noise was heard. It has a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, which can be used by everyone. They have coffee, tea, milk and fruit. You can buy your food and eat comfortably at any of the garden tables. A very large room, with a large tiled roof. It is very comfortable. You can even sit with the door of the room during the day. The beach of Los Lanzas is very close to giving us a walk. We are very pleased and delighted to return.

An ideal place to forget about stress.

I got married in Tarifa in June and we wanted to book several rooms to stay there for myself and my siblings, when I go online they give me several options to book, but I still decide to contact them to inform me a little more, so I answer by phone that I won't have to make a booking because we are a group and it loses the essence of the accommodation, something that I find difficult to understand given that each one will make their reservation particularly with their family and their name, I ask you to explain the answer well because I don't know what you mean and they say no, that in June there are days restrictions.

It's not a word.

The hotel is nice and cozy, convenient parking in front of the reception. Garden with a drawer and each room has an outdoor table with chairs. A 10 minute walk is on the beach and it is also possible from here to reach the center of Tarifa with a comfortable wooden walkway that adjoins the beach. The common room offers guests a kitchen with everything necessary to prepare breakfast or eat something. Structure that welcomes dogs, good. I didn't like the idea of breakfast made by you because, especially the moms, they gave them all the kitchen as they were at home.

Nice and neat by the beach.

We have come from spending a few wonderful days in Tarifa, and that the winds of rising, exaggerated, did not allow us to do almost anything on the beach, although Sara, the girl who received us and attended us, recommended us to make other great plans. Also to say that we manage a small problem of travel, which we thank her immensely (Not usually in many places). The courtyard is wonderful, the rooms are very charming, large and clean, with nice details, as well as the dining room and community kitchen. The garden and surrounding area, with immense lawns, large trees and beautiful gardens, all decorated with very tasty plants, with many dining areas, tables and chairs for relaxing, relaxing by reading a book or relaxing breathing pure air.

Magic stay in Tarifa.

Just 3km from the walls of the old town of Tarifa is the Cortijo. A rural house that has been renovated and taken care of in every detail; each room is different from the others, special and charming, you can't choose the most beautiful one because they are all the same amazing. I stayed in room number 2, everything was perfect! The beds, shower, the small living room... ALL MAGNIFIC!!!! If you want you can use the common kitchen of Nature to prepare something to eat, breakfast, or just a coffee, the idea is beautiful! I will never tire of returning to this little big paradise on the ocean side and in the heart of the park! A must for those who want to stay in Tarifa and live a unique experience!!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel because the surroundings are very pleasant and the courtyard has plenty of garden and common areas where you can relax, it's ideal for couples and families for its tranquility.The workers are very friendly and it's worth noting that it's a pet friendly place where your pets are welcome, and it's worth thanking because in many places there are still restrictions on having pets or not admitting them or asking for supplements with pegas, so for me the places where they are so kind for everything I like to thank you.Sarah is very kind and Manuel!Saludos y volveremos!Carolina!

A very pleasant place in a natural environment.

El cortijo is a great option for spending a few days in Tarifa.The facilities with garden are very spacious.Our two chihuahuas have had a good time with other animals.It is very close to the beach and the village.Sara is a charm, with her kindness and charm, the asset of the cortijo.

We've been delighted.

The place is simple and quiet. Good taste and harmony. Our very large and spacious room with a well-kept bathroom with a wonderful shower. Convenient to reach Tarifa even on foot along a walkway in the nature park next to the beach.

Beyond the Expectations

Because we extended our trip we stayed in two rooms at Cortijo El Pozuelo. The first one was very nice and comfortable. The second one was exceptional. It was huge with two easy chairs, a tiled walk-in shower with sprays all around. Both were very clean. This is a "rural dwelling" and it is rustic. But it also combines qualities you will find in a nice hotel.  The property is located within steps of a natural area, with a boardwalk that leads you close to the beach and into town.  This walk took us about an hour, though if you go faster it might take less. We were not bothered by it because it was a lovely walk with views of the beach. We had a rental car for exploring the area and getting quickly into town and I think this is best. The atmosphere that the owner, Manuel, and his assistant, Sarah, have created is the best thing about the Cortijo. They have really made their house your house. In this day and age of consumerism and giving precedent to the profit motive, it is wonderful to see these young people so open and giving in their hospitality. When you arrive you will be given a key to the common area, a sort of living room, where you can get coffee, croissants and other snacks, fresh eggs from the property itself. Here and all around the property you can sit and lounge. If the internet isn't working well in your room you can always come here and feel right at home. You can cook here, or use the grills outside, or use the microwave/convection oven in the room. Pipa, the owner's dog runs around and happily, invites you to pet her. Tarifa which is close by is young and modern, and Verger de la Frontera, which is 48 km away and worth a day trip is exquisite. The beaches around the area --such as Bolonia--are delightful and the ancient Roman ruins which are a short drive are fascinating. But it is mostly the openness and the welcoming atmosphere of the Cortijo that I come back to. I congratulate the owner and his assistant for his vision for this place.
