Really great location, close to the beach and local bus stops. We had a little trouble finding it as it is off the main road. Very comfortable and spacious, needs a little updating furniture wise but the beds were comfy and I thought the pillows were fine but my friend found them too hard so maybe a choice of pillows and a few heavier blankets as the nights are cold in December. The pool area is quiet big and the pool guy was in regularly to clean the pool but it was cold and if you want it heated you pay extra. Very happy overall and would definitely recommend it. 

Great location and very comfortable.

I understand the negative reviews as we also found the shower to be low pressure and not great , I also found the internet drops out often which isn’t great , but being in Europe our data costs the same so 4G is fine. The Villa is basic , could with extra plates and glasses but we have enjoyed our 7 nights with our nephew and his girlfriend. Second bedroom definitely needs extra furniture , I think for location it’s value for money , outside area is great , pool great , quiet location and rooms stay relatively cool , no need for air con in January although thE weather has been in the 20s and sun all week.
Some bulbs need replacing inside . The sun is on the pool for most of the day which is a bonus also . We ate out mostly so cannot comment on cooking facilities .

Spacious, clean, location good

We have just returned from Villa No 5. It was clean, the beds were ok, but more pillows are needed as one each was not enough. The shower is ok, we didn’t really sit inside so I can’t really comment on the settees, the TV only had a couple of English channels, so no good if you like to watch TV on holiday. Our main issue with the villa was that we had to buy washing up liquid, washing powder, dish cloths, pegs, cleaning products, salt, pepper, cooking oil etc. We have left these items in the villa for the next inhabitants, I just hope they will be still be there and are not removed. The twin bedroom has no wardrobe or bedside drawers which we found odd. There was however a wardrobe in a small room off the hall. On the plus side, the villa was nice and quiet and the pool was heated to a reasonable temperature. Overall the villa was fine, not a home from home, but adequate for the price.

Villa No 5

Stayed in villa 5 for four days. Glad to get away from it to be honest. As per other reviewers, facilities were very basic. Outside space was nice. Pool dangerously deep. WiFi was crap. Shower was crap. Beds comfy. No aircon. Not value for money.

Very basic

Stayed here for two weeks over Xmas and New Year..
We arrived early and the villa and pool were being cleaned..the cleaner was lovely and let us leave our luggage there and off we went for something to eat and drink..
Ok so on entering the villa we were quite impressed by the size, it had three bedrooms and two bathrooms a kitchen, lounge and a utility room..
The furniture was old and shabby but we thought " ok " we can overlook that..
The cooking facilities are next to none..a couple of frying pan's, and saucepans but no oven trays, roasting tins or any oven proof dishes, so to cook anything other than a pizza was impossible and when your there for two weeks it's nice to stay in and cook a meal..not here though !
There was a kettle,toaster and coffee machine but only one plug..
The beds were comfy but the pillows were crap..
The bathrooms were large and kept clean but having a shower was eventful..the water would go from hot to cold and back to hot all the time..
The cleaner came in three times the first week to change the towels and empty the bins and only twice the second week, the bed sheets were changed once..
In the evening's when the sun went down it was quite chilly and the villa had no heating , it was really drafty too so we used to put towels by the front door to stop some of the drafts...it really could do with a couple of portable heaters..
English channels on the tv consisted of Sky news and CNN, but loads of German, Dutch and French..
We didn't use the pool because it was too cold but it was cleaned a couple of times while we were there..
The position of these villas are the best thing about them..just a couple of minutes walk to the beach or shops and restaurants but they're on a very busy road and its constant all day and night with cars and buses..no peace and quiet here.
I couldn't recommend these villas to friends or family unless they were updated and more facilities were in place 😞

Villa No 3

I will start firstly by saying the correspondence between the owner and the person booking the villa is non existent. We were never informed of where we could pick the keys up from although we contacted the owners on numerous occasions to no avail. We arrived at the villa and we were very lucky to catch the maintenance man next door who let us into the villa.I opened the door of the villa and the handle fell off in my hand. Inside is very dated, covers on sofa were dirty and holes in them, bedroom curtains had holes in them, tiles in kitchen area all marked. The kitchen had very few utensils. There was no basic essentials such as salt pepper tea towels ect. The maintenance man then spent the week at the villa chopping down trees and even asking us to move our Sun lounges so he could carry on. The pool wasnt very clean either. We holiday every year in Lanzarote and I can safely say this is the poorest villa by a mile. The whole experience from no communication from the villa owners to the very poor interior and not much better exterior were a nightmare and we couldn't wait to come home. Also the air conditioning didn't work and when we phoned the desk they said they would look at it but we heard nothing else and it wasn't repaired. I definitely would not recommend this villa to anyone.

Extremely poor villa

Stayed in villa 2 all I will say is it’s reasonably clean, curtains and furnishing nothing like pictures bedspread dirty , water hot or cold would never recommend and anyone saying it’s brilliant well I’m sorry it’s far from it, great location near the beach shops and bars , .

Atrocious 

Just back from Cinco plaza and have to say it is a fabulous complex very friendly staff and really family oriented this was my second visit here and would have no problem in returning and I will , But Cinco plaza really need to do something about their sun beds it not a holiday if you have to be up at 7.30 to 8 am and be down waiting for the man to unlock chains from the beds so you can get one people put towels on them and may not use them until afternoon honestly they are like vultures so Cinco I hope you can rectify the only problem I and many other guests had but well done on everything else.

Highly recommended

We are on our last day staying at Villa 5 which we booked via Booking.com a couple of months back.

There are 5 villas in total, we think 2x2 beds and 3x3 beds (or vice versa) and they are situated next to Hotel Beatriz Playa in Matagorda, literally a stone’s throw from the beach and short walk to the nearby commercial centre.

Villa 5 is a 2 bed, 1 bath spacious villa with a small (and deep) plunge pool. It has no filter or cover so it was pretty cold despite the daily air temperature of 24/25 degrees. There is a good sized private patio area with bbq, double outdoor lounge bed and two wicker loungers which could do with some new mattresses.

The villa itself is very clean but slightly dated and, coming from new-build homes, we do have a preference for more modern living but it was spacious, beds were comfy though we did request extra pillows, hot water intermittent in kitchen and OK in bathroom but low pressure made showering a bit of a chore and needs improving. Washing machine worked a treat and we managed to do breakfast/lunches most days and ate out at night. La Brisa at the nearby commercial centre was consistent and we would also recommend Oriental World and Bollywood Indian restaurant in Puerto Del Carmen. Taxi from Beatriz Playa costs €5-6 one way.

Our family do enjoy their english TV and did miss not having any channels on the villa TV. There is wifi which isn’t the best but we managed to stream music so it might allow use of a Firestick or similar (and some patience getting it to work) for those who like to keep up with their shows!

Staff were attentive and helpful, pool was checked and cleaned twice during our week stay as was the villa. We arrived early and villa was prepped and ready which was an added bonus.

We know this area and this villa location was perfectly situated for our needs. If the small but essential upgrades were done and we felt we were getting a bargain as we did this time then we would consider returning. The weather was luckily rather toasty for the back end of November with unusually low winds which was also a big bonus!
