This property is old and tired, the oven
was disgusting with rusty shelves, "we didn't use it at all" shower was a dribble, bath had rust around the plug, the pool "also didn't use" mainly because the steps out were very loose and dangerous, there's much more I haven't mentioned but overall this property desperately needs a refresh, and if a family were to go there I could see an accident in the making

Villas Bocaina - Villa Cristina

We stayed in villa 19 for 10 days in January. The villa is spacious and comfortable. The pool terrace had sunshine all day and we had paid for the pool to be heated which was needed in January.
The villa is comfortable and the rooms are a good size with comfy beds. The bathrooms were spacious and there was plenty hot water although the pressure was a bit low upstairs but this wasn't a big deal.
The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge and small freezer. Using too many electricals at one time caused the electricity to trip but there is a trip switch in the hallway to switch it back on.
The villa is about 7 minutes walk to a great bar with good food (the spinnaker) and probably a 10 minute walk to the main strip, this is a hill but nothing drastic.
There are plenty of supermarkets just 5 minutes walk away.
It would have been nice if we had a change of towels and linen in the 10 days but we knew before we went this wasn't going to happen and there is a washing machine.
I did contact the again as the pool heater didn't come back on after the electricity tripped they were helpful and it was fixed in a couple of hours.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend Villas Bocaina.

Lovely villa

We stayed at number 18 villa Bocaina and it was a fabulous location only a 7-10 min walk to main strip a bit of a hill back up but a taxi was only €3, the villa was spotless very spacious with a great pool, WiFi was great and it had everything you could possibly need. I had read some bad reviews so was a bit nervous but honestly can’t fault it I really don’t know what they could possibly complain about!!  
There was a lovely Chinese called new world on the corner which was amazing!!! And a great roast dinner in o reillys was also amazing! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back. 
Also a tip if you don’t a late check out but have a late flight home contact wwweasyhire365.com lanzarote  luggage storage who will come and collect you luggage at 12pm check out time and drop them to you at the airport at you flight time at a very small cost too!

Great villa

I am staying here at the moment this will be our 6th time here, cannot fault anything, Meka is always there if I was to need anything, we are only a short walk to main strip, just love it here. I won’t stay anywhere else.

Review

We stayed in number 4 Villa Bocaina for a week on the 10th June to the 18th. We had an infestation of Ants in the ground floor bedroom, broken tiles by the pool, dirty pool, no clean towels, washing machine broke, pool was ice cold and never heated, the whole pool area was very dangerous and my mother slipped on the wet tiles by the shower and broke her shoulder and wrist in 3 places and had to be rushed to Aricefe hospital where we spent the whole day. The pool was far too deep for children, it was never cleaned. House was never cleaned as no cleaner arrived at any time during our stay. This villa destroyed our family holiday and would not recommend this to any family. We are completelty traumatised and it was a total waste of money. We feel let down the we have missed our annual family holiday.

A disastrous family holiday.

Lovely villas set back off the main strip about 10 mins away.
Nice view looking out towards the sea and peaceful area.
We stopped in number 23, las Brisas and well worth the money.
Heated pool felt like a bath.

Spot on

I can only confirm what this complex of villas is written in general, very poor attention due to the people who manage it, they were there for 7 days, they did not come at any time to make the change of saunas to clean the pool, or anything like that. The layout of the villa is quite good, but the furniture is quite simple and including the mattresses of course.

Poor maintenance of housing.

More than a vacation rental villa, it looks like a cheap polygon dwelling. Very dirty, the rotten beds, the rotten terrace table as well, trash from previous tenants, the barbecue with leftover food and the used charcoal that hasn't been removed. The pool full of living creatures, the bottom full of trash. Paying 387 euros for 3 days, to me, seems like a robbery for what it was.

Unfortunately, even though the terrace has a barbecue-style barbecue menu, we were greeted by a strong cloaca smell that took a couple of days to leave. In the kitchen there were no dishes and cupboards, and the existing one was empty and greasy. When the house had the offer for 6 people, but there was no menu for 6. The terrace table was burnt and they had to change it. A disaster of stay.

The Bocaina Villas are centrally located but still quiet. A shopping mall is nearby. It is about 10 minutes walk to the beach. Nevertheless, a rental car is recommended. There is no reception. The key is in a security box next to the entrance. The code for the box is received by mail about 10 days before the start of the holidays. The house is purpose-built and for the price, etc. The facility has already gotten a bit old but not rotten. Cleaning takes place once a week. The pool is very refreshing and evaluates the house.
