The regular meal, the camera with no great talent but about how we had a cold... and when we commented on the case that we were treated and nothing... a pity.

 Disappointing.

We were looking for a place to relax and rest, without a doubt we found it: the spacious rooms with their special touch on two floors, bed and bath downstairs, lounge and bathroom hydromassage upstairs. spectacular views of nature. The comfortable bed. No noise. The breakfast included complete. And the attentive and friendly treatment. 100% definitely recommended.

Disconnection and tranquility.

The site is totally recommended. Peace, tranquility and relaxation with all the sanitary measures to be more than safe. Full and rich breakfast. Sonia, the caretaker, a love. We ask for harder pillows and without any problems.

Genius is a genius.

A friend brought us to this restaurant for the first time and very well; I really liked the fact that the tables are large and there is enough distance between them, something that I value very much. Very nicely decorated, clean room; the only one where there was no paper to dry hands; the food is rich; I recommend the table of varied croquettes, they are very good, soft. On the outside, they have a piece of garden to drink coffee and liquor.

Stupidity is the result.

It is located in the valley of Valdeolea, among hidden trees. An old restored mill. Cuyos with excellent family treatment, make you feel at home. Its homemade food and the best quality at exceptional prices. They make the visit desirable again. No I have stayed overnight there, but I am sure it would be unbeatable. If you breathe in peace and it is located a few kilometers from Ato Campo y Reinosa. Highly recommended and unforgettable.

Excellent, relaxing, familiar.

Rooms with hot tubs (real, those that fit two people well, not those that one already has a bad one) are a delight.We also agree that it is a delight to see snow outside while inside you are immersed in warm water.Moreover, the restaurant is a delight.Everything is rich!!

Brutal  Brutal

We met him at the wedding of a few friends and the ceremony in the garden, the food, and the organization were unbeatable. We've been back several times and the impression can't be better. Rich food, perfect service and no way to get hungry. Both on the menu between the daily and the paper, everything is very good. Spectacular food, that, meat, fish, morcilla...very rich everything. And the rooms are equally magnificent, the decoration, the comfort and the views. Very close to Reinosa, de Aguilar, 40 minutes from the beaches of El Sardinero. A place 100% recommended to remember for a weekend.

The best in the area!

Excellent quality-price ratio of this duplex in a quiet and relaxing place. Perfect attention from Nuria. Full and varied breakfast, with seasonal fruit, yogurt, bread with butter and jam, and even sweets like the typical soybeans of the land.

An excellent place to rest, relax or spend a few days visiting this area.

Have stayed here three times now. Its a wonderfully quiet spot. Whilst the roons are basic this entirely made up for by a large spa bath and lounge area in each room. View from the windows across fields and the sound of  cow bells and bird song are not often interupted by the odd car on the not very nearby road. At weekends it may be more noisy from having locals using the resturaunt.
 Your hosts are delightful and have time to chat and help with planning local walks in this absorbing area of Spain. There are plenty of PR walking routes well signed around the local area. We've walked PR61 which takes in some of the neolithic standing stones. 
The evening meals showcase local food and I've not been dissapointed with any of the meals Ive eaten here. I can recomend the starters, cecina, if you're a meateater, and the scrambled eggs with black pudding, pimentos and pinenuts if you're not.The beef is some of the best I've eaten, fish is also on the menu. Portions are generous and there are plenty of wines on the list to go with any meal.
The hotel is a good stop for those on there way to or from the ferry at Santander. Itbeing about an hour from the port.

Lovely tranquil place

We stayed in this converted watermill in the Cantabrian mountains for one night before catching a ferry from Santander back to the UK. The building is lovely - stonebuilt with wood beams and high ceilings - and has been tastefully and imaginatively converted, with features like a glass pane in the floor of the restaurant through which old mill workings can be seen.

Our room could have laid claim to being a suite - on two levels, with the bedroom and bathroom downstairs, and an upper mezzanine with a hot tub, sofa, television and window overlooking the old mill race, fields and mountains beyond. It was attractive, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. For sixty euros a night, including breakfast, it was an absolute steal.

We had dinner on a very quiet night in the restaurant - just two tables besides ours - and enjoyed a fine meal from a menu of national and local specialities. I particularly enjoyed being able to inspect the wines, which are on display on a table in the centre of the room, alongside a wine fridge. Breakfast was less of an event but perfectly acceptable - fruit, good coffee, pastries, yogurt, bread.

The owner is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and speaks excellent English; she and her husband had just finished their first summer as a wedding venue (a marquee was still visible in the grounds, which are beautiful). Based on our experience they deserve to do well.

We were only passing through, but this hotel and its spectacular surroundings merit further exploration. Highly recommended.
