I've got renovated rooms, clean rooms, always friendly and available staff, great location, no elevator but for the rest I've only found positive aspects.

Without going into detail: - If you are looking for something relatively cheap in the center of Valencia, this is the case. - There is quite a noise, but that is what the center has. - The bathrooms are fine, not so old, there is air conditioning and the beds are comfortable. - We had a decent room in terms of space and light but we saw others that weren't so much. - We had a VERY serious problem with insects and the treatment was not as expected.

We have an anecdote left to tell.

This accommodation is all about location. It is right in the centre of the old town about 3 minute walk from the covered market on the Placa del Mercat. It was quiet. Clean, good air con and an excellent shower (no bath). This accommodation will not suit everyone because it does not have facilities of a standard hotel, it is somewhere between a hostel and a hotel. The only thing we were unhappy about was there was no bedside light in the room. 

Great value for money and excellent location

This hotel/hostel has been a really pleasant discovery if you are looking for a place to stay for a few days. Very cheap, very clean and located in the historic centre of Valencia. It is easily accessible on foot from the central train station. Recommended.

Simple hotel, clean and well-organized room, perfect location to walk around the city centre and get around by car or bike, excellent quality price ratio, on three floors, highly recommended!

Good value for money

It's very close to the beautiful Central Market, where you can also have breakfast. There's a coffee machine on the ground floor. The first coffee in the morning, good. Wi-Fi for every floor with fast connection.

That's great.

We stayed here one night because there was a race in the city and just for that night there was no hotel where we would spend the rest of the nights. NO WAYES. Bedclothes (of different types and sizes) mocos on the wall that makes the head, the mattress was moving towards the middle, the floor of the room was not straight, it looked like a scalextric full of ups and downs (which, seeing the above, this is the least).

Evítalo Evítalo is the name of the game.

Hostal located in a strategic location, but also subjected to nighttime noise and flickering, especially on weekends. The reception is located on the first floor. The attendant is of few words, but proved unexpectedly available in changing the room (initially he had assigned us a horrible and dark lounge with a nearly blind window) and in replacing the light bulbs of the living room. The room is exactly what you expect from this category: small, but with a good bed, a good bathroom, wifi and air conditioning for heating (we are in January). Correct cleaning.

With wax covers for sleeping, it might be acceptable.

A very very simple hotel, don't expect luxury and advanced technology. There is no elevator and the rooms are on the first and second floors. The double bed was practically a bed of one and a half squares...! Our room looked out into the inner courtyard, so we didn't hear noises. But we didn't even hear noises coming from the other rooms. A point of praise for the cleanliness. I rarely found such clean hotels, even with more stars. The location is then excellent, close to the central market and ideal for walking around the center.

The hotel is located in the city center just 150m from the Mercat Central, where bus L150 from the airport stops. The hotel is rather humble,
136 years old, with a stylish facade and small balconies. The rooms are slightly small, but well equipped with a table, a minifrigde and an air conditioner,
rather small TV with Spanish channels. There is no elevator in the the building.
The room has several sockets and two of them next to the beds. The reception is 24 hours open, so late arrival is possible. The stuff doesn't speak English,
so you have to practice your Spanish or retreat for Google Translate.
Common area of the hotel has sofas, a toilet, TV, a large table and a micro-oven.
The hotel is located in the calm area, the old city of Valencia is pedestrianized.

The main tourist attractions are close, the first thing you will see leaving the hotel will be Llotja de la Seda and Mercat Central just in 100 m.
530m to the Valencia Cathedral, 300m to Sant Nicolau church.
Unfortunately, the beach is located far away from the city c
enter 5.5 km, it takes around 30 minutes by public transport. You can buy SUMA 10 card for zone A in the vending machine at metro stations and probably
in small shops selling lottery tickets, one located just next door to the hotel.
For grocery shopping there is 200m to the small Carrefour Express and 950m to Mercadona and 1.6 km to the closest Lidl.
The area has lots of restaurants around, some of them located just next to the hotel entrance.
