This apartment is in an excellent location and I could not fault the service from Like apartments.

The apartment was clean but it is very tired and in need of some TLC, having said that it was a very good price. The kitchen is very basically equipped and has a two ringed hob but no oven and no kettle. There are hundreds of places to eat out nearby though so you don’t need to be able to cook a proper meal.

My main issue with this apartment was the lack of soundproofing. We were on the second floor and could hear everything from above and unfortunately there were some very loud groups staying above who partied until 4am and kept us awake. If you want a good night’s sleep this is not the apartment for you.

We booked Bio park tickets and a return transfer back to the airport (20 euros) through Like which was a lot cheaper.

Excellent location but poor sound proofing

We were delighted with the location of the Lonja apartments - near Cathedral, Placa de la Virgin, La Lonja & Mercado Central. Very clean, good security and includes everything for a short stay. The staff in the nearby Like Apartments office are very helpful - excellent customer service! I can recommend as a central base to explore the old town of Valencia and rest of the city.

Great Location - secure apartment

We stayed here for 5 nights in February, me, my husband and 7 year old daughter. I have scored the apartment 4/5, this is based on the very reasonable price (about £55 per night), excellent location right in the very centre of the old town within walking distance of everything and near literally dozens of food restaurants and bars, also the apartment was spacious and the bed was comfy. Also the girls who greeted us were helpful and nice. However, before you book a stay here you should note the following things. The apartment has no soundproofing whatsoever (internal or external). Normally this wouldn’t be a problem because the apartment is on a quiet side street, (unless you had noisy people next door), but at present the apartment block to the rear is being gutted, work starts at 8am in the week, they don’t appear to be working at weekends. So if you are planning to be up and about early it’s fine. If you are hoping to have a lie in or a siesta, you might want to choose somewhere else. As the building at the back is currently a shell, building work is likely to be ongoing for some time. I read one review which said the apartment was cold, dirty and lacked hot water. This is not completely fair in my opinion. There is heating, you can switch it on and off at the panel on the wall and it does work. It is not really dirty, however the bathrooms are tired, the tiling is old and they could do with upgrading. We found that the amount of hot water was limited, it’s fine so long as one person doesn’t spend too long in the shower! Also the water to the bath was shut off, and the water in the shower was on the cool side. I mentioned this to the reps, but I don’t know if anything will be done. It is possible to make the shower hotter by turning down the cold water feed tap high up on the wall. Apart from that the place is good, well equipped with kettle, toaster, iron, safe etc, and they supply towels, toilet roll, toiletries, and basic cleaning stuff, washing up liquid and cloths. So good value for money. Overall we enjoyed our stay, Valencia is a lovely city and fantastic for kids, our daughter loved Bioparc, Gulliver, the science museum and Oceanographic, and if we return to Valencia I would stay in this apartment again.

You get what you pay for!

We were told to go to the reception to pick up the keys for the apartment nearby (which was less than 1 minute walk). At the reception they offer bicycles, tickets and they have a lot of information about the city, what we appreciated because we were a little lost. It was nice to spend a couple of days in this apartment.

Pleasant stay at a very nice apartment

Apartment on the fourth floor. Clean. Good location, very central. Supermarket nearby & some nice restaurants. Rented bikes via them, 8€ per day, per bike. Friendly people at Like Apartments Lonja. 

Only a bit noisy. You can hear the neighbors walking & actually their whole conversation.
