Everything is great. It's close to the train station (15 minutes walk), close to the center. The sights start next door, the Basilica 15 minutes walk. It's clean, cozy, comfortable. There's everything in the room, laundry, towels, glasses. It's very warm (opened the window).

Everything right for a boarding house! Centric, economical, comfortable and very clean! Ideal for spending a day or two at a very good price!! 20€/night included!! Proper care and refurbished facilities, 2 shared bathrooms in the hallway of the rooms!

The quality and price is unbeatable!!

It is a boarding house located in the center of Zaragoza, next to the Aljafería and a 20-minute walk from the Basilica del Pilar. It can be parked nearby without a parking meter. The owners are very friendly and the site is fine but needs renovation in the rooms (the windows are very old) and could give it another more modern touch. The smell of the cleaning product was too strong. The bathrooms are new and shared by few people so whenever we wanted to use them they were free. Our problem was that we were touched between the two bathrooms and we heard too much of the noise of people's cisterns. To spend a centric and unpretentious night recommended. Cooking 30€, cheaper bar and more complicated. For the night I was inspired by the perfect confidence. For the day, I was inspired by the perfect night.

A centralised and correct pension.

I stayed at Lacasta for 2 nights during my visit in Zaragoza. The pension is very cosy and clean and the price is very low. 
It is on the 7th floor, but there are 2 lifts in the building. It is right next to the Aljaferia and about 15-20 minutes from the city centre. I admit it was a bit difficult to locate, as you have to enter a block of flats, with a small sign indicating the pension above the door. The staff is very friendly, but they did not speak any English, so I had to communicate in (my very bad) Spanish. Also, as the walls are very thin, I would suggest to ask for a room away from the bathrooms as you can hear the doors banging all day and night from people entering.
In general, if you are looking for a cheap and cosy place to stay, with no frills, I would say Lacasta is a good choice.

Affordable and cosy accommodation

State pension this week for work and he to say that it is a place more than recommended, it is located in a not very remote place in the city center, its rooms although simple are very cozy and clean plus the staff is very discreet and at the same time friendly.

A very recommended accommodation.

The Pensión is located in a building halfway between the Aljafería (which I highly recommend visiting!) and the Caixaforum. The night area is quiet. Clean and functional room with daily towel change. There are several power outlets (which is not taken into account!). Common bathrooms, there are two in total and in one there is also the bidet. Both very clean. In the corridor you can supply water (hot and/or cold). Quality-price more than satisfactory for which I would be happy to return!

I stayed six nights at Pension Lacasta in a quiet, comfortable room #5 on the building’s ‘7th’ floor.  WiFi was reliable and fast, and I appreciated the complimentary bottled water.  Location was just okay, about midway between Zaragoza's bus/train terminal and its Casco viejo.

But I found the dark stairwells and corridors in the building creepy and did not care for them.  Room #5 could also be improved by adding 1-2 small desk lamps on either side of the bed.  Now there is just a weak ceiling light, and no other light in the room, too weak to read by.  There are end tables on either side of the bed, along with two power outlets on either side of the bed, so where are the desk lamps?
