It doesn't have air conditioning and, after calling the manager, we didn't get a response when we requested a ventilator. The curtain will move if it falls off the ceiling. There is humidity in the bathroom door. There is no price-quality correlation.

Poor ventilation and humidity.

We had booked a very last minute surfing holiday and this pension was the only hotel available. Checking in was confusing since we had to go to a different hotel but thankfully I was prepared for this having read previous reviews. 

Secondly, the room was incredibly basic for what we paid. The worst part was the state of the bathroom, there was mould in the grouting, the shower ran out of hot water very quickly, and the wooden bathroom door was rotting!! 

One of the other rooms was left open so we peeped inside and it was in much better condition to ours. I've looked on their website since and they don't offer differently priced rooms, so it seems unfair that you get different things for the same money. 

It in in an ideal location though- a stones throw away from the beach. And the breakfast was decent enough

Very basic but expensive 

We were doing the camino and this pension was perfect. A big bedroom and bathroom in a lovely quiet village with one shop, one bar and one restaurant. The host was very friendly. We were very happy. I would recommend. We enjoyed our stay here and were able to relax.

We had a last-minute problem and couldn't leave. they returned the money to us without any problems and treated us very kindly, the very kind guy indicated how to handle everything without any inconvenience.

Ideal location very close to the beach and the old town, simple but spacious and very clean accommodation, is an affordable option for those who do not spend much time at the hotel but want privacy.

Very good option near the beach for quality price.

Despite being in an excellent location and staffed by darnos, one of the best rooms (because there was a bit of sea view), was the worst place I've ever stayed in. Add to the huge window sill that occupies half a room the fact of being on the first floor and not having air conditioning. That means not being able to open the windows in the heat of summer, as these windows are an authentic expositor to three different streets. Suppose the overheating of the room and the claustrophobia of being in the dark all day without being able to enjoy the views. Also in the bathroom (small room), there was a huge warm personal feeling that was unpleasant.

No, we will repeat it.

Positive things: - The really excellent location, in fact it is located a few steps from the beautiful beach of Zarauz. - The size, cleanliness and tranquility of the rooms Negative things: - The steep staircase that, from the street, leads to the rooms. - The common area, outside the rooms, totally dark and with buttons, for the lights on, not very visible. - Bathrooms with dated faucets and faults. - A little poor breakfast.

I'm sorry to make this comment, but it's been a night of tragedy, due to the noise that's just below, a bar of drinks and porches left the doors locked, if you want to rest, I wouldn't recommend it.

We were in Easter, and the truth is that the price is very good quality, well located, central pinchos area.
