After we stayed at Wadduwa, we booked this place for one night stay in last March because our next door hotel Walauwa was not available for that night. Photos that they added tell much more before we booked, but after we arrived nothing. This is really like a container box and no any atmosphere because one side is nosy road and everything was blocked by walls. We felt like prisoners because no space and no atmosphere. Also inside the room and bathroom with the air conditioner got unpleasant smell and we got headache. so many ants inside the bathroom and bad smelly. beach is near and breakfast average. Next morning we moved to the next door hotel Walauwa which was beautiful and like a paradise in Sri Lanka for our five nights stay.

A reasonaly price for this "de Luxe double room " should be 15 us dollars. 
But we paid 35 us dollars 
We recomend to go to next door hotel Walauwa which is very nice and cheaper

Very bad

Nice place to stay. Owner is very friendly and like to talk with guests. Rooms are quite big with good AC, tv, and hot water. 3 minutes from beach. There are only two rooms for now but owner told us he is planning to open more. Only minus there are doors between rooms so we heard our neighbours. 

Nice place to stay near the ocean

I was there for only one night I wanted to stay 4 nights but then I changed idea. Here the reasons why: first of all the cleaning of the room, there was an excrement on the head of the bed, the light bulb in the bath mirror was missing, the curtain on the window bathroom was missing and people from the opposite flat could see you and then it was full of ants everywhere!!! I attach pictures of the situation. 
Positive things: the guest house is 5 minutes walk from the beach, the kitchen where they prepare breakfast and dinner I suppose is very clean and the waiter who serves breakfast is very kind. T

Bad experience

Kamal and his family are some of the most supportive and friendliest people I have ever met.  They took me in and gave a very clean triple bed room when I didn't have my U.S. passport, Indian and Sri Lankan visas, money, debit card, and phone; drove me around Colombo two days in a row to get my passport and visas taken care of, took me to a fantastic surfing beach, and took care of me while I sorted things out.
Of course the food is also great and the beach is very beautiful, especially with the boulders and natural pool on one side and miles of open beach on the other.

Thank you for everything

We arrived with no reservation and still got a very big, clean room with big bed and an excellent bathroom. We asked for a mosquito net and Kamal provided a brand new, tentlike net! Airconditioner is big and cools the room in minutes.
Breakfast is nice and you will leave with a full stomach.
The beach is only couple of minutes walk away with a long strech of sand.
Overall, excellent place to spend some relaxing time!
