Clean,  comfortable, neat and well maintained air conditioned rooms. Clean and well maintained en-suite bathrooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Tasty food at a reasonable price. 

WiFi internet access is available and there are televisions in each bedroom. 

The only downside is the limited parking space. If not for this fact, I would have given five stars. Best to contact the management before booking to make sure that adequate parking space will available on the dates that you are planning to book the hotel. 

Overall, we had a very good experience at this place in August 2017. 

This small budget hotel is conveniently located just outside the city, close to Nuwarawewa, providing easy access to the ancient city of Anuradhapura, the new city of Anuradhapura and Mihinthale.

Very Good - 5th August 2017

First thing to improve by the management is hygiene. My bed linen was filty and it's not difficult to clean the furniture (also under the desk and inside cupboards), the windows and corners of the room. Overall it was very dusty.
You have to pay extra for AC, this should be advertised better. Breakfast was good, dinner was just okay (you can get this anywhere and even better). Staff was helpful.

Brilliant Hotel, good service throughout the day. Always there to help you when you need it. Was there for 4 weeks and enjoyed it so much. Plus food tastes nice and freshly made. Good value for money.Totally recommend it to anybody visiting. 10/10

Brilliant Hotel

Pros..Very helpful staff and huge rooms. Value for money in terms of rooms
Cons.... the hygeine standards in the restaurent are not very good. Dirty mats and glasses. The staff not very well groomed..waited for food for over an hour and half ( after travelling for hours this put us a bit off). Food when it finally arrived wasnt that nice either.

Overall i would reccomended this hotel for people on a budget looking to stay a night or two

Room for improvement 

A good place found in Sri Lanka. I'm a citizen of the world and my crew depend on the partners I find from the destinations ;) . You can find relatively better places from where ever you go in Sri Lanka, to the main city. Sadula is my recommendation for you from Anuradhapura. The place is really good and value for money. Rooms are spotless and facilities are high in quality. Single rooms had enough space and was not box packed like many other places. Bathrooms were spacious and freshened up everyday. The young chap in the family knew the whole area and was helpful for a backpacker like me. He helped me with my map a lot. Thanks sweet lady for your 'Chai' every morning! :)

"Comfort away from comfort zone!"

We were supposed to stay in this guest house from July 21 to 24. As soon as we entered the dining area, it was dark and not too clean. But the room was even worse:, dark room, dirty and inoperable dated air conditioner, old furniture, stained sheets, curtains full of dust and spiders, ants and other insects not only at the windows but right in the room.

Weight

The reception is small and dark with a TV room where dusty couches welcome us. The wet room, including sheets and towels, with viscous stains of moisture and water filtered from the ceiling. On the ground a small pool makes us understand that water continues to filter from the ceiling. The small, narrow bathroom, without window with broken faucets and badly functioning shower. At least the hot water is clean! Then dinner... at our request we prepare Singaporean dishes, unfortunately oversized and this, fortunately, in small portions. For breakfast we had no pretence but to lift the curtains to that one as soon as possible.

I'm not going to lie.

We stayed at the Sadula Holiday Resort for the first 3 days of our tour in Sri Lanka. The resort, although small, is very well maintained. The rooms are quite spacious and well maintained. Breakfast and dinner are excellent. We were lucky to meet the owner Mr. Asoka, a very friendly person who has tried every way to make his land live its best. We really recommend this resort and we are sure that we will be back soon!!!!
