Pros: 
- away from everything
- sleeping almost open air 
- amazing staff and host 
- great jungle tour
- good food 
- supports local business 

Cons:
- very very basic place 
- completely overpriced (however, you’ll support local business with it)
- price should be around $15-20 per night 

Great spot in the wilderness - sadly completely overpriced  

We had one night booked here after flying over from the UK.

We had to leave before staying due to the lack of comfort. The rooms are huts without complete shelter/seal from insects etc and the beds are not comfortable. 

If you are looking for a very adventurous, camping like experience then this is a great place for you as it is in a very idyllic location right by a waterfall.

However, if you are looking for more comfort do not stay here.

It is very far out of Kitulgala and you need to hike down a slippery slope to get to it.

On cancelling the booking the manager tried to make us pay for the night-despite booking.com allowing free cancellation so we just paid for lunch and got a taxi to Delhousie.

Not for the faint hearted

We booked 2 nights but moved after only one night because we didn't find the place comfortable at all! At check out we paid for 2 nights because we did the booking on booking.com (which then is ok), but they tried to make us pay double price for the two nights!!!! The owner seemed pushy and not interested in listening to our complaints.
We moved to "Gallene Gala Nature Resort" in the area of Kitulgala which we would choose again for the nice atmosphere, staff & location!! Go there!!!!
