Reception area was very small but we were checked in quickly and given our room keys promptly. Lifts to room were very small and not very pleasant.

Room was small with no views. Bathroom was adequate. Shower always had hot water. 

Location of hotel was excellent opposite the world trade centre and short walk to plenty of restaurants. Also a shopping mall and beach were just 10 minutes walk away.

Loved the roof top bar area with lovely views of lotus tower, world trade centre and also view of the sea.

Breakfast had very limited choices. However enjoyed the freshly cooked eggs

Great location & roof top bar area however only OK for 1 night stay!

The room is very old-fashioned, looks dirty, is poorly cared for, has nothing to do with the exterior, is no longer a good impression, is a pity the location is excellent, I do not recommend it at all, and the breakfast is not good either.

It needs reforms.

We wanted a room on the front side with 2 single beds. They gave us a room on the back side. We also had a very long discussion about the price we agreed in a lobby without airco. My friend who was in this hotel 4 times before never will go back. And we will not go to the restaurant. 

Bad communication en appointments 

Old hotel, same-level dining room, very noisy exterior because rooftop bar is packed with the restaurant so the music is noisy; restaurant level it's not terrible, fish dish and vegetables ordered, vegetables too cooked, lack of presentation of the dish and I didn't dare taste rice. Avoid this establishment.

It's horrible

A good location but you pay for location with noise and hassle from street sellers and beggars.
We were originally given a room which overlooked the internal courtyard but the smell was awful. The courtyard is a smoking area and the only window overlooked it. The smell was overpowering and the room also smelt damp and musty. The staff's initial response was to spray the room which did nothing.
We were moved to a front room with a small balcony but single glazed and doors that didnt close properly made it very noisy.  I believe smoking is also permitted in rooms though there are signs saying not to throw cigarette butts from balcony.
The room was not very clean. Bedding and towels both were marked. Beds were also not comfortable.
There are not enough plugs for modern travellers.
WiFi did not work in room but management did provide a router  .  Though this used one of the few plugs.
Bathroom was tired and although not dirty it wasn't clean as could be seen from getting dirty feet after a shower. There was also less than half a roll of toilet paper and only a small used piece of soap. 
The roof bar was nice with lovely views but the music going on until midnight kept us awake and then moving the equipment was unnecessary at that time.
Breakfast was poor. Fellow guests who ate at 7am found good choice and good service. An hour later there was minimal choice and the food appeared to have been out for a long time. The egg station cook was not good and either over or under cooked food. The staff were sitting at a table drinking tea rather than attending to guests.

Very poor hotel which was not clean and stinks of cigarettes.

Good position near large hotels and Dutch Hospital. BUT- Room had single glazing, looking over very noisy street.   Room was on 4th floor. Staff moving furniture on patio/breakfast room immediately above till after 1.40am.  Muslim call to pray started 6.30am.  Staff very nice. Breakfast fine.

Noisy - avoid.

I was at the city centre area yesterday. Because 
It was lunch time  I stopped by to have their Fish curry meal from the outlet  .I was thoroughly disappointed. The food was extremely salty and l 
Couldn't even have a spoon full of the food  .I complained to  the staff at the counter  . I was not offered anything else . They are only interested in taking the money .

Don't care if you eat or not.

I chose this hotel with a view that this property is located near to the Railway station.  To my dismay, the hotel is too old and the facilities are not matching with the charges.  I found bed bugs and reported them to the Managing Director.  I have taken pictures of the bed bug and shown them to them then only the authorities believed me.  It is not a good hotel et all.  Not providing bottled water and the reason they are giving, is they want to reduce plastic usage.  TV was not working and I called at least 10-15 times and no none attended. Showers are not working properly and all the minimum requirements are missing.  Please do not chose this Hotel.  The Bar also in a pathetic condition, there is no special provision for Smokers in the bar and very difficult to sit with people who are smoking.
