It was situated very close to the Golden Temple, we had a delicious rice and curry. It was very reasonably priced and vegetarian. The owner was really friendly and kindly gave me tips on Sri Lankan cooking.

Excellent rice and curry

The host is a very nice man and the food is just fantastic. He showed me his place, rooms (all clean, located in a nice little Garden and not too close to the road) and Garden and exlained me the plants and fruits. The place is a few minutes walk from the Golden Temple and the famous Cave Temples. I can just recommed it.

Very nice and helpful owner. Nice and clean rooms. Very good Sri Lankan food in the restaurant. It's a really jungleplace. Comfortable beds. Good WiFi. Very nice breakfast. 

Nice place.

After 3 days in Mirissa with no decent food for our taste buds, we arrived to Dambulla for one night and found this amazing place. the food is very tasty, vegeterian and non-vegeterian, we tried almost everything on the menu and ate everything.
The owners are extremely nice and helpful.


Finally some good food!

Stopped here to have a fruit juice and plan our next move in dambulla. The people were very nice and the juice was excellent (and cheep, only 300 rupee). The place looked very nice, too bad there is an open sand field between the place and the road. Toilets were also very clean.

Nice place for fruit juice

We stayed in Disni Village for 2 nights and had an amazing time. The accommodation is beautiful, owner is very pleasant and his wife is a great chef. We were dining in the garden and enjoyed some traditional vegetable curry and delicious breakfasts.

This quiet family run guesthouse is close to The Golden Temple.  Excellent rice and curry and a good breakfast.  The owner was friendly and really helpful with regard to travel advice and local attractions.  Rooms were spotless.
