Amazing place for a holiday. Very relaxing place and nice and clean hotel. Service also were great. Definitely would recommend. Hotel is situated just next to beach so it has got really refreshing environment and food there authentic. Well done guys

Holiday

I stayed at this resort for 5 nights and enjoyed my stay here alot. Staff was very friendly and helpful.  The hotel is clean and comfortable and it is right on the beach front. I really recommend staying here.

Very nice!!

Owner tried to negotiate a 500 rupee tuktuk ride into town, later admitting it should be about 100 rupees. 

After that we couldn’t really trust the guy.

Every time we spoke we had to run a gauntlet of standard tourist traps that we had spent two weeks learning to avoid. 

When he pulled out the gemstones - I nearly laughed out loud. 

They should concentrate on running a decent hotel, which gives good service, rather than just trying to lift a few rupees here, a few rupees there.

Rooms pretty standard, he inevitably overcharged us compared to prices online. No breakfast. Thank god we didn’t go for the food as no doubt that would have come at a hefty price.

Nice to be on the beachfront, but owners five or so dogs - including a Rottweiler - which followed us, made it uncomfortable to sit. Fittings propped up to look fine, then fall apart when touched.

I’d try somewhere else on the nice side of dikwella - especially when you consider the price of taking a tuktuk everywhere - it’s really not worth it.

Scam after scam

It is like a villa, not really hotel but that is what makes this place special. Family atmosphere, friendly staff and the magical beach... It seems like paradise, dream come true. Far away from crowded beaches, you literally walk on the splendid beach alone. Perfect place for relax, either you are solo traveller or couple / family / group. Feels like second home.

Fantastic place to relax by the sea

We stayed for three nights and liked it very much there. Ask for the local rice and curry type dishes.

Family-run, Good wifi, hot water shower, very good restaurant.

The beach is accessed by a few small hotels/guesthouses and local residences. It's very peaceful, beautiful and clean. The shore is shallow but the waves and the currents require decent swimming skills if one wants to swim any further.

All in all the best guesthouse at a very nice town where majority of houses and businesses are in local use.

The nicest hotel by a peaceful clean beach 

What a wonderfull place! just in front of a beautifull natural beach, where if you are luky you can see turtles laying eggs in the night. and if you don't, you can take a tuk tuk to see them in Tangalle and come back.
Sampa, we wanted to come back during our trip, but we didn't have time and now we came back in france :_( Thank you for everything, it was nice to meet you and your friends! Say hello to them!

Did you say turtles?

I went with my family and another family to Dickwella for friend visit. When we searching a place to stay, found this place and we were fortunate to find this place. This was small guest house which still has to some construction. But guest house was in main road and facing to the beach. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained. The beach also not too bad and we have enjoy good sea bath. There are no big staff since it has a very small operation and mostly done by SriLankan family and they really polite and helpful for us. Specially the the place was really worth for money. I cannot comment on food since we didn't buy any food.
