Great location, beautiful view. Spacious and clean family room. Everything you wish for during your stay. 

Loved the small scale set up and at the same time kids were appreciated. One of the most beautiful places ever been.

Beautiful location

Stayed one night there and begin to like the place very much.. cottages are really nice to spend the time and there is a swimming pool if u would like to use.. 
food quality is not great but can give 7/10

Great location and experience 

Stayed in this wonderful place for one night, and found it one of the best secrets hidden at Ella. Excellent accommodation with real service with smile made our stay a memorable one. The services provided by The Manager of the Secret Ella, Mr Sajeewa and his team is far superior than what you get in any Star hotel. Any one gouging to Ella must try this secret place.

A hidden gem

I was so desperate to go to Ella, just as everbody else does and "The Secret Ella" made my journey everlasting memory❤

The hotel has a breathtaking view and we chose to stay at their Garden chalet where we could see a mind blowing view of the Ella train and relaxing greenary and clouds from above which brought peace to our eyes and joy to our souls. They have an infinity pool and I have no words to explain the feeling of enjoying a cold swim there while relishing the broad view of the greenary and Ella train appearing from here and there of the view😍

FOOD was the next best part of The Secret Ella😋 We didn't expect their food to be that much scrumptious but must say they provided food and their service upto 5 star standards........

We should also remind about the Manager who was really helpful and willingly dedicated to see that we were comfortable. The staff is far more friendly and offered us a great service that we'll be talking for the rest of our lives and yeah, if I am to go to  Ella again, which I will definitely do, "The Secret Ella" will be my only option that I will go with because it all worth for the price that you pay❤

A Journey Everlasting.........

We loved this place!!! It’s so worth the price you pay and the kinda place to return! 

We loved the smooth check in process. Loved our room. We stayed at one of the cottages. Recommend this option highly unless you are coming as a group and prefer to stay at the bungalow. The room is spacious though only basic requirements are met. The bath tub is cute. Loved the view, I could stare at it for days. It gives you a lot of privacy and you could have your own relaxing time. Better yet, they even serve your meals to the room. For some meals we chose to go to the restaurant and loved the dining experience outside in the garden. Staff are so friendly and never say no. They were very attentive and looked after us with much care. 

Privacy, the views and the pleasing weather 

Had an amazing weekend at The Secret Ella Friendly staff definitely made our stay a wonderful experience and meal options and food was another level. Very affordable prices and totally worth it. Scenic view of the mountains and mesmerizing infinity pool added some quality time to the stay. Recommending this place to everyone and definitely will be going back again.

The Secret Ella has one of the best infinity pools

The first time I booked, my car met with an accident and the trip had to be cancelled on short notice. However, the hotel courteously offered to postpone the booking and we eventually decided to travel in April. We were warmly welcomed after following the CoVid protocols, but there was no welcome drink. The room satisfied our expectations. Ella is fairly cold, and it is understandable they don't have air conditioning in the rooms, but it was a particularly warm day and we couldn't help but feel the extra heat in the room. The fans served little purpose except as another working accessory in the room. The view was breathtaking. It has a view of the 9 Arch Bridge and the hills. It is also within close proximity to The Flying Ravana mega zipline and the Mini Adams Peak. We could hear the sound of trains and my 2 year old son was fascinated by the view of it. He also enjoyed the kids play area in the garden. The infinity pool was clean and well maintained. The service was excellent at all times, and the food was great. They don't have a buffet, but the ala-carte options were impressive. The washrooms have a bath tub that can fit 2 persons and they have all the condiments and toiletries to be happy with. The rooms are really as good as it looks in the promos.

All in all, we had a great time. Special thanks to Mr. Suranga from the Reservations desk for making all arrangements including the postponement of the trip on short notice, reschedule of it, change in the meal plans and the late check out. I definitely plan to visit again in future. I also highly recommend The Secret, Ella.

Secret ✨😍

Super scenic view from the Chalet. Cozy stay, great food, awesome hospitality by friendly staff.  Sanjeewa was very helpful from the beginning. 
Will definitely revisit soon. 
It’s beautiful hidden place in Ella, very close to Flying Rawana and the 9 Arch Bridge and many other picturesque places. 

Fantastic getaway to relax your body and mind 

The stay was amazing. Breath taking sceneries and perfect weather. Food was scrumptious. Staff was friendly and courteous. Chalets were vert clean and comfortable. For all you adventurous folk out there, Flying Ravana is right around the corner where you can engage in zip lining, mountain biking, archery etc. Secret Ella is perfect for those who want adventure and relaxation
