Sudu kanda Lake Resort is the best place that we have been to in Sri Lanka after a long time. The food and the service along with the young owner of this Resort is excellent. when the time permits I would always want to come and spend my time at this resort. any one who walks in to this Resort will feel homely.
Home away from home, You got to come here and see for your self!!!!

lovely place to relax

By chance we found this amazing place and hospitable owner. Beautiful view over the lake, restaurant and rooms not too close to the road, nicely hidden between the nature. The staff is really nice, always good and different food. We just had to ask what we wanted and got it. They offered us the best typical sri lankan food, drinks,... Also, we had with 5 friends, Akila and our driver a really funny and amusing night after a typical aperitif and awesome dinner. So nice the owner did everything to ensure our every need and was open to get to know more about everybody. You see he has experience from abroad so knows how to treat well the guests. We really recommend this place for the amazing food, comfortable rooms, good atmosphere, open-minded and charming owner.

Most charming place of this island

This is a wonderful place where I stayed after long time. The young owner is quite caring and devoted to his job. Food is ok 👌 and they are valued more than the pice of it. Small staff is very friendly. Rooms may want some attention to them.

The hotel is really amazing.it is the best relaxing hotel which I ever stayed for past 5 years.staff is very friendly and helpful.food is excellent.in fact this is a perfect place to spend a relaxing vacation!

Perfect place for a relaxing vacation!!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this resort for 4 nights. The room was immaculate and the scenery was gorgeous creating a very peaceful vacation. The Sri Lankan cuisine was freshly made and delicious. The owner, Mr. Akila, and his staff want above and beyond to ensure our every need was met! I would highly recommend this resort if you are looking for the perfect place for the perfect price!
