We were at Villa Tee Four with our kids and my parents for 3 nights and 4 days and it was an absolute magical stay! The view overlooking the Victoria reservoir is just sooooo breathtaking and peaceful that you could just sit outside and stay the whole day without doing anything else at all. The pool was just the right size for the kids and they had fun in there to the max. The rooms were spacious and the wash rooms were clean and elegant. There are beautiful nature walks to go on around the Victoria golf course.

One of the best parts was the wonderful cook Ramya and the caretaker Bandara. Their food was absolutely yummy and they were the kindest souls too. I was a little under the weather the whole time I was there and they just took care of me so well, offering everything I needed at all times. They were great with the kids too.

All in all, it was one of the best vacations I have ever had, even while being sick. It had the right combination of everything I look for. If it was any different, I would have cut it short and returned as soon as I fell sick. But it was all too good to leave prematurely that I decided to stay on and I’m so glad I did. Can’t wait to go back again!

One of the best vacations ever!!!

As I sit here on the back porch overlooking the stunning valley and lake I feel like I am in heaven. All I can hear is the sound of birds, the breeze in the trees and the odd ping of a golf club. Today we leave after 3 perfect nights at Tee Four Villa. Funnily enough we hadn’t booked this place, but had booked rooms at The Victoria Golf & Country Resort, but due to a big wedding they asked if we would be ok staying here....are we ok? We are delighted!  The villa is so homely and kept immaculately clean by Ramya our housekeeper. Who I must add is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met.  The pool is a great size and the gardens are immaculately kept. My intention staying here was that I would go for a walk with my family as they played golf....that hasn’t happened as I have been glued to this seat on the verandah taking in the beautiful scenery. This has been the perfect start to our holiday. We would definitely stay here again. 

A little piece of heaven

Stayed in Villa Tee Four in Victoria Golf Resort for 2 days.
It’s in a brilliant location with most peaceful and breathtaking views. At a glance you can see the lake, mountains and greenery with the blue skies in the background.
The bungalow is well maintained and has all necessary facilities and a small swimming pool.
Staff were extremely accommodating.
It’s ideal place for golfing or  a relaxing break.

Beautiful Villa with breathtaking scenery

Went with the family with my loved one. Spent just a night , it was filled with so much fun -family pool time altogether- and a romantic walk just 2 of us. The dedicated butler service is great, she did everything great and menu was wonderful. We two enjoyed the stunning sunset. Hope to go back one day :)

Wow nice view and bungalow

This is a lovely boutique villa in a peaceful and quiet location near the 4th tee of the golf course. From the back porch there is a beautiful view of part of the golf course and green-top mountains across Kandy Lake. The villa is well-maintained by the housekeeper, Ramya, who looked after us from morning to evening. She was very friendly and attentive and even brought her sweet little daughter, Nithmi, along with her. My infant daughter enjoyed her company very much.

The room and bathroom were clean and the bed also was clean and comfortable. The pool is quite big and we had a great time playing in it. Just keep in mind that it's a boutique villa so even though some things might look rather old or showing wear and tear, that's just because of the boutique concept. We will surely stay here again whenever we go back for a holiday in Sri Lanka.

Lovely villa in a gorgeous location

Location is good. This villa is having two rooms and good for 4 people. Having private pool and foods can be cooked or order from nearby golf club Resturant or can be get cooked through house care taker. 

Best place to play golf and relax with your family 

We stayed here for 2 nights to conclude our travels around Sri Lanka. Before you read this review, please be advised this comes from the perspective of a young and active couple looking to wind down after a busy couple of weeks:

The pros: The pool is very clean, the views are lovely and the hosts friendly. The villa too is also very clean. We have no doubt this villa would be great for a small family able to contain themselves (i.e. bring food to cook and enjoy relaxing by the pool). 

The cons: (1) despite a lovely breakfast on our first morning, the second morning we were simply given jam and toast (value for money?!), (2) the Wifi is terrible, (3) not a great location is you want to venture outside of the resort to explore nearby towns (7km to Digana), (4) the website claims the villa offers spa facilities which we found out on arrival not to be true. Please do not advertise this as available if the closest they can offer is a tuk tuk to the nearest town to a spa facility there. 

Overall, it is a lovely Villa, but do bear in mind the above if you are a like minded traveller.

Great villa - but limited options outside of the Victoria resort.

Where to start? Maybe the organised transport (thank you) that included the lack of Air-conditioning, standard haphazard driving and the beauty was when the driver spits out of the window with my family in the vehicle..

The next pleasures were the archaic electronics in the villa along with the dangerous electrics on the floor lamps (twisted wires to the switches).

Lack of towels for 3 guests laid out in the bathroom (no hand towels at all), though they were available in the cupboard upon request - the booking was for 3 people so I was expecting some formalities there.

The kitchen is a potential health hazard with a stowaway of things randomly collected and ready under each counter. This include an accumulation of trash inside the recepticle not from our stay, assumedly cost effective for the owner but not really representative of a 5 star review made by previous guests.

The final blow and reason I ended our stay after 1 day of a 2 day booking was the English (or Irish) breakfast. It consisted of canned (spicy) sausages, eggs cooked 3 times (overkilled) some bread/toast, some margarine and some jam. Nothing remotely resembled a googled image of an English breakfast, just an overconfident assumption of what English people eat for breakfast - I'm English by the way.

Couldn't wait to get out of there quick enough and won't be going back with a family. Having visited Sri Lanka around 7 times on various forms of holiday, this would not make me want to come back had I not been to other areas and accommodation types. Sri Lanka maybe be going through some turbulence as a country bit that shouldn't be passed down to a tourist without having an upfront good explanation first - find out and see me er worked with me and never will. Previous guest feedback is unreliable in my opinion.
