Lovely place & the cook Raja is excellent & he & the staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable..
The room A/c are fine ( don’t really need them) but the water pressure & hot water needs some up grading..
Hall is great & very airy .. There is lovely open deck on the side of the Hotel, that is really great..!!

Very comfortable stay with great food..!!

We recently stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn't find fault with anything, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very big and very clean all have en-suite.
The food was very good and the staff made sure breakfast was ready even when we had an early start to go sight seeing. 
It was lovely waking up to a coffe and the amazing views.
Transport was arranged by management which was comfortable and reliable.
Lovely place and would not hesitate staying there again.

Fantastic

We have travelled to this place on 10th and 11th September with 4 Families.The Bungalow is located in a scenic place and surroundings are breathtaking. However, the road to the bungalow is not that great and the shops located about 2-3 Kms away. So make sure you bring all the necessary stuff before your arrival. The Manager Chandana was very helpful and also the two cooks. Kids enjoyed the stay as there was a Pool as well as ample space both indoor and outdoor for activities. On request, we had the BBQ Night near the pool. Overall I would highly recommend this place for Families with Kids.

Enjoyed the Stay.

The house is located deep within the hills of a small Buddhist village called Gampola. It's is very peaceful spot; amassed in foliage with tropical fruits and rare birds to spot. If you wake up early (6am or before), you can go down to the summer house and gasp at the luscious valley covered in mist. This is the perfect place to read, write or sunbathe, or to have a BBQ which was prepared for us one evening. 

The housekeeper is super helpful and friendly, he changes the bedding daily, sprays the rooms with Deet and cooks the most fantastic authentic Sri Lankan dishes. 

The pool and outside area is very clean and reclusive; there are sun loungers alongside a shaded area. Inside, the house's interior decor is an ode to "old colonial" style, with high ceilings, Chaise longues and lots of interesting artwork. The rooms are very large, clean and each have their own en-suite.

The house is quite remote but if you want to go to Kandy (30 minutes away) you can ask the housekeeper to provide you with a reliable driver. About 15 minutes drive away, into the opposite hill you can visit the Ambuluwawa Tower and gardens. We visited Kandy, Dambulla (slightly further but certainly manageable) and Sigiriya during our stay.

There is also wifi. I would highly recommend.

Delightful, tranquil, cultural retreat

This bungalow has an absolutely stunning view .. Overlooking a hidden valley, surrounded by hills steeped at times in mist ... 
Breathtaking scenery in peaceful surroundings.
The household staff attended to our every needs and their attention to detail and cleanliness was first rate.

An ideal location to explore from .. Gampola a bustling vibrant town full of life and shops. Kandy just 40 minuets away ... 
We had a fantastic time and would happy recommend this house to others ... Enjoy x

This bungalow located in a great location with a beautiful view of the mountains in hill country.You can have a coffee in the evening while enjoying the beautiful view.Lot of space for children to play. Very nice pool available.Overall this is a good bungalow for a family vacation.
