Very relaxing atmosphere. Great place to stay if you want to unwind after being in the crowds all day. We had amazing breakfast and dinners at the house. The room is large and comfortable, they supply a mosquito net as there are large windows allowing fresh air to come in. The hosts are very attentive, maybe a little too attentive. Very easy to catch the local bus to Kandy city or they offer private transfer. Highly recommend staying here. 

Unwind after a busy day.

Jasmine Villa is a big house on the outskirts of Kandy, a nice location uphill with wiews on the river and mountains. it is a bit further from the city center so for the first journey there or in the dark, I would recommend a tuktuk (400-500 rps), but local buses run regularly to reach Kandy lake and city in a short and cheap ride.

All the rooms were very spacious, clean, nicely furnished, and with a balcony to relax with a view on the garden and mountains.

This was one of our favourite places in Sri Lanka. Our host was one of the nicest person ever encountered. We connected instantly and chatted over endless cups of tea with this wonderful lady, cooked together, learned many things about the region and the country, and spoke on the phone to every one of her family members all over the world.

And the food! Anula's curries and sri lankan breakfasts are simply exceptional.

I would recommend contacting the host directly (her son is mostly arranging bookings (in perfect engish)) to get a great rate.
Overall, this homestay is a bit the best of both worlds : very high quality and luxurious rooms and bathroom, perfect cleanliness, and the warm and simple welcome of staying with a local host,  for very advantageous rates.
This homestay alone would be enough reason to visit Sri Lanka again!
