Nothing in breakfast except 02 slice of bread , long wait for this also and morning no sign of breakfast at all in the form of buffet . Rooms AC doesnot work , post 60 minutes of wait and arranging a senior official call from overseas who spoke to front desk and finally arranged the room which had AC.If you wait for breakfast departure may get delayed better not to have it.

Staff unfriendly and disconnected at front desk, poor customer service.

Don't know about others but surely we at FASTTALKS are putting this.

Name Peak Pavillion surely need to raise up their game in hospitality and such low level standards are alarming.

Still hopeful to have this feedback taken as an eye opener and future guests will be treated better

Shocking Experience highly below standard

We picked this hotel based on previous reviews and it was perfect for us. The price was very reasonable, the location has great views of Kandy and the staff were very polite and helpful. The walk up the hill may be a bit much for some but it is very much worth it for the views. If we come back to Kandy we would stay here again 

Perfect for our visit to Kandy 

Hi we spent 3 days in this hotel.
The view is great and the staff is friendly,but the hotel is old and not clean:sheets dirty in 2 different rooms,and alsa when we asked to change them,they has still spots..
It’s possible to find something better in town

Only the view

I suspect the photo to the left may have been photoshopped as there are other buildings nearby!  Anyway, this is supposedly a 1* hotel, but I'd giove it about 2.5*.  

It's basic. You get an air-conned room plus bathroom & balcony. The bed was comfortable, there's an empty minibar and some bottled water.

We found the shower tended to flood the bathroom a little, and there were a few ants in the top-floor room.  There's no bar in the hotel, and given it's high up above Kandy, you might not want to walk to get a drink!

Breakfast was simple - fruit, omlette, sausages (without finding out that we were veggie) and tea / instant coffee.

The views both from our balcony and the one near reception were stunning, both day & night.

Basic but good.

A good view of Kandy city from a comfortable room with clean bathroom. Very helpful staff. Location is good . Road is OK. About 5-6 minutes from Kandy . Close to Kandy municipal car park and KCC food corners.

Nice city view

We got this hotel reference in the last moment. Over all experience was good but it’s only fit for one night stay not more than that.

Pros: 
1. Beautiful view specially from room 404.
2. Friendly crew

Cons:

1. No proper restaurant 
2. No room service 
3. Hot water not regular

The Peak Residence - Kandy

Great view. The room number 204 was spacious, double size, with 3 balconies, it was pleasurable to stay there.   Some   persons of the hotel are very very nice, friendly and helpful. Level of quietness was ok –  neither the small road passing nor remote sounds from the town below didn't disturb.

The main plus point of this venue is the view you see from the room. The hotel is at a peak of a mountain as its name expresses. The view of the ground is just exuberant. The rooms is average and the rest of the amenities are OK. Food is also OK but there is not much of personnel to function or service. 

The meals get delayed and hard to find anything you want at night as the guys are on sleep. 

But I still prefer the place for the cold climate and the view.
