Situated in Heerassagala Kandy about a Lkr 150 (one way ) tuk ride from the kandy city centre is where PGC residence is .

First of all , the staff were more than happy to let me check in an hour early which was a really great start which did not come at any extra cost .

The pool was small but beautiful and modern as in it was a mini Infinity pool with a beautiful view . Also the pool was well maintained despite the numerous plants and trees around it .

Dinner was simple but delicious and very generous , Fried Rice and Kottu , the main highlight was the breakfast served next morning .

It was a Typical really well served Classic English Breakfast which consisted of one Bockwurst , Baked Beans , 2 Bullseye’s , 3 slices of toast bread , Butter and Boiled vegetables served with Tea and Coffee.
Keep it up guys , really Loved it !!!

I would totally reccomend this place if you’re looking for a quiet affordable weekend getaway !!

Calm and Quiet Place with a Beautiful Infinity Pool and a Splendid Mouth Watering English Breakfast

Room I stayed was matching the standards of a five star hotel, well maintained and very clean. I stayed at the ground floor room, hence I had easy access to the garden which has a very good view of the city. The view at night and morning was breathtaking, as I could see the Peradeniya university compound and mountain range from the hotel. It was nice and windy at night and I genuinely enjoyed the sound of the wind and the chill weather. Away from the city, hence it’s very peaceful and calm and all I can hear is the the whispers of the plants in the garden and I really love relaxing there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was tasty and great, had one of the best cup of tea I have had in my life. Truly amazing and best place to stay in Kandy for sure.

Around 7kms away from the city yet provides a secluded environment to unwind with your family and friends. Picturesque views from all the rooms. And the infinity pool adds a great value.

Got all five rooms on BB basis for a night and had an unforgettable experience. It's commendable how accommodating the manager and the staff

A great place to relax!

The hotel is a good choice for a short visit to Kandy. We had a superior room which was huge and has amazing views. The infinity pool is a nice touch, is very beautiful especially at sunset. The staff was nice. 

They only accept cash and they were  slow doing check in and checkout.

Amazing view

A very nice and relaxing place to stay on top of the hills of Kandy,and the staff are very accommodating. It's a good choice for a budget travelers but you will enjoy the views plus if you are not lazy to walk early in the morning you can go up on top of the mountain and reached their beautiful scenery of tea plantation..

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this beautiful residence on an hill looking over Kandy! The place is amazing with an awesome infinity pool with a view over Kandy! We booked the superior room which had a huge balcony! Totally recommend it and totally worth for the price paid! 

AMAZING HOTEL WITH AN BEAUTIFUL VIEW

We were on honeymoon, so we arrive in Kandy from a beautiful and excellent hotel in Dambulla, therefore our parameters was very high. PGC is as lean hotel, the managers looks like teenagers but they were very helpful despite of all troubles like a bad WiFi signal and a minibar that doesn’t work. The breakfast we had no choice neither varieties, but was ok. I hope they improve the services because the location and the pool area were great, has its value!

Almost good

We had a very warm welcome in this stunning villa. The location is great for spectacular views over the valley. The staff was very helpful. No restaurants in walking distance. The hotel offers dinner and serves great breakfast.

Wonderful view

I was misled by good reviews not knowing that the reviews were made by budget travellers...
The place is good for budget travellers. The level of service and experience matches the price.
Be careful they accept only cash.
The place is on a steep hill and city center is not within walking distance. Tuk tuk ride takes approx 20 minutes (and costs 800 LKR = 4 EUR).
Everything in the place is cheap, although the house looks really nice on web pages...
Forget the pool, because it is not suitable for swimming, since approx 1/3 of its 5 meters is shallow (for kids). There are no sunchairs at the swimming pool area. Also the balconies don’t have chairs...
My recommendation: if you are not budget sensitive, find a better place closer to city center. You will save some time, money and nerves on daily tuk tuk rides...



Goog for budget travellers

This place is beautiful, absolute luxury and very clean. Rooms,infinity pool, view from the balcony made me speechless. Staff is amazing and the owner is super cool. And Food is the BEST !!
