We were supposed to be staying in this Hotel for 2 nights on our Honeymoon so we could go on the Safari at Yala National Park. Room was clean(ish) although bed sheets were marked, no running water at all, both my husband and myself got food poisoning from the food which was served on a blanket in the dark. Massive gap under the door so we awoke to find bugs in our bed! Picnic breakfast of a banana and egg & carrot sandwiches left a lot to be desired. So bad we ended up leaving early and found a much nicer place to stay in Marissa. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nightmare Hotel

Thankfully only a last minute overnight stay close to Yala for safari. Overpriced although room clean and the frogs and lizards loved it. The fridge and shower did not work. Dinner was below average and overpriced and the breakfast takeaway for our safari was inedible. However, the small garden and pool was quite cute and the staff appeared friendly enough and removed an amphibious guest from our room. 

Yuck in Yala

I don’t want to seem impolite so I’ll keep it as short and simple as possible, please think thrice or maybe even a few more times if you are even considering picking this place as your B&B stopover. We only lodged in this place for the sole purpose of sleeping and showering and even that seemed like a daunting task given the conditions provided!  
A/C does NOT work.
Normal shower has NO water, so you’re stuck burning yourself showering from the hot water tap.
The pool is a paradise for little bugs.
Food – It seems like even though you pay them to provide a meal for you, to them it’s like your literally are asking them for gold. The only thing on the menu is RICE!

A disappointing choice of lodging to what could have been an amazing trip.

Go away from the small town of Kirinda, turn right and then left on the dirt road and find an overpriced, worn down guesthouse. The pool is so filthy that you cannot see the bottom. There are better alternatives in Tissa which is just as far from the Yala national park.

Stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful stay. We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed by very friendly and service-minded staff who served us pineapple juice and offered to cook us breakfast for our early-morning safari! 
After coming back from safari, Chamara, Ishara and Prabath cooked us a nice meal and showed us an excellent time!
Rooms are clean, spacious and have A/C and free wifi. The hotel is close to the sea and very recommendable if you are looking for a nice and quiet stay!

Nice and quiet guesthouse near Yala

First of all, it is the friendly reception of the staff. They are always ready to help you, to serve you. The rooms are simple but very clean. The common areas are pleasant. The hotel is located in nature, surrounded by Paon... The hotel is a little far away from everything, but the setting is relaxing and above all we are very close to Yala Park.
