The owner was nice enough to wait up until we arrived late at night, in fact very early in the morning. The room we stayed in was small but the toilet was clean (also small). There is a large and spacious verandah that overlooks a garden. The beach was around ten minutes walk or less. Did not eat. No ceiling fan but a rotating fan which is cool. This place works.

Nice Place

We had a nice room tucked at the side of the building. There was a very nice patio seating area. The room was an adequate size and it was clean. The bed was comfortable and there was a mosquito net over it. There was a floor fan but the room was quite hot because the windows had to stay closed due to there not being any screens. The bathroom was clean and there was hot water for the shower. The hotel is a short walk to Marikoliya Beach which is beautiful but there are big waves and a strong undertow. There is an area with rocks that has calmer water for swimming. The owner, Isi, was very friendly, polite and helpful. There is a lovely raised dining area with a thatched roof in the front of the resort surrounded by lots of lush growth and birds. We had a delicious dinner as well as a good Western breakfast prepared by Isi's wife and served graciously by Isi. He arranged a tuktuk to take us to the bus station in Tangalle. We enjoyed our stay very much!
