We stayed at this beautiful family run guesthouse, in sleepy SK Town, a good beach for surfing, without the business of Weligama.

We were welcomed with with open arms like one of the family, the traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts were superb cooked by Lucky ‘s lovely wife, who despite the language barrier was a wonderful host who was happy to assist with anything. 

I would definitely recommend staying here for a truly Sti Lankan family experience, you get to meet Hiruni, the owners daughter who was good company too! 

It was lovely and clean, for me the only negative was the lack of air con, but to be honest that’s a personal choice &  I couldn’t fault this guesthouse!

The perfect place to experience Sri Lanka

This guest house is run by the most friendliest family in Matara. Lucky who owns the house will take you out in his tuk tuk and show you around. They treat you like one of the family. The accommodation was very clean and welcoming. The food was amazing, which his wife cooks in her little kitchen, and it just kept coming. Such a great place and two minuets from the beach.

Guest house run by very friendly people. Room was nice and clean, same for en suite. Best of all was breakfast - selection of fresh fruit, toast and egg. Best deal we had anywhere! It has no beach view however it is literally 20 seconds from the beach. It is also best for surfing - not as crowded as welligama.
