Amazing stay in Madiha! Comfy rooms, icey cold AC, big clean swimming pool and smiling, helpful staff. Great location, maximum 5 minute walk to the beach, turtle snorkeling, surf breaks, bars, restaraunts and cafes.

We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay in Madiha

We spent 9 days at Turtle Eco Beach with 2 children (2 and 5 years old) and we were delighted.
- Wonderful beach a few steps from the hotel, great for kids to play, nice sand and safe to swim. There were turtles every day!
- 10 minutes walk to a large supretmarket and little village with pharmacy and some shops
- a lot of different restaurants and bars starting right at the exit of the hotel
- great room with very good and quiet air conditioning,
- beautiful Balinese bathroom (outside, open to the garden) - very comfortable with children when they come back from the beach covered with the sand :-)
- a large swimming pool situated in a beautiful garden, open even late in the evening
- very polite and helpful staff with great attitude towards children
- the owner of the hotel Michel, is simply a great person. He truly cares about his guests and goes above and beyond to make them feel welcome and comfortable. He told us lot of thongs about the area and helped with everything we needed. In addition, he organized a small surprisebirthday party with big cake for my husband!
- Well organised safari trip at a very good price. We saw elephants, crocodile and other animals, it was amazing!
- Tuk-tuk stop right next to the hotel. (We recommend a driver named Amal, very fair prices. He is driving really safe - which is not a standard in Sri-Lanka,  we traveled with young children, so it was really important for us. He is also very nice and helpful and can be easy contacted with WhatsApp, +94711550211)
- additionally, we were recommended a place where selling famous local sapphires and other jewelry "South Lanka Gems and Jewelery" - we bought there beautiful pieces (made especially for me, according to projects I liked). Its quality has exceeded my expectations, it is simply perfect. The prices are great compared to Europe - bit higher than at the small local shops, but the quality is excellent and everything is authentic.

All in all, it was a great holiday in a beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. Thank you very much :-)

Amazing place like no other!

We stayed 5 nights at Turtle Eco Beach and loved everything there.
Rooms are spacious, with all amenities. Nice Indonesian style bathrooms and very good breakfast. The large swimming pool is superb.
The owner is really friendly and helpful, as well as the staff.

Very pleasant stay

I spent 3 Nights in a lovely room from which I could see the Ocean :) the room was clean and comfortable with AC. breakfast was always with fresh fruit, good coffee and good Toast as well as good eggs.closeby are a number of places to eat and the beach is like super close - on the oposite Side of the street there is a small one where I saw a turtle one morning :) the pool is big and clean. I Liked staying there and will come back!

Lovely place

The hotel is very green, the pool great, and the staff very friendly. The owner is very friendly too. The standard room is comfy, and the balinese bathroom is really nice. One suggestion would perhaps be a water kettle in the rooms. It is located right across the beach, close to many restaurants and bars. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Great green place

Our stay in turtle Eco Beach was so nice, the hotel is located in a quite area, with a beautiful swimming pool, each room is so charming and the staff is really kind and responsive, it was really clean and beds are very comfortable. It is easy to access and you can rent a scooter from there. The beach is right in front of the hotel, do not hesitate if you have to choose a stay in this area, we will come back for sure.

Peaceful and so charming place !

Just had a superb weeks holiday here, from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, it has been amazing. 
All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly.
The hotel was very clean, our room with fresh towels and linen.Privet garden was delightful,
close to the hotel has the most amazing beach ever and The sunsets were colourful  .
A great place to stay and would have no hesitation to come back and recommend this hotel.

Relaxing Holiday

We were disappointed by our stay at Turtle Eco Beach. It was much less value for money than our previous resort further along the coast. The room fixtures and fittings were old. The curtain rail fell down and the bedside lights didn't work. The bed and linen was very clean but the rest of the room wasn't. The pool and garden were beautiful but overgrown. The restaurant was the most disappointing of all. Tables were dirty, the service was ridiculously slow and the food was terrible. The special dish of the night was calamari. Unfortunately it was reconstituted fake calamari with rice and fries. Breakfast was horrible and given the price it was a shock to be charged extra for bacon. The manager was quite rude when I queried the extra charge on check out. Although he removed the bacon charge from the bill, I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Overpriced 

Thanks to all the team at Turtle Eco Beach. We spend a very good time with a team always available. Very good cooking and nice place next to the beach. A very beautiful swimming pool in a nice garden. Rooms and bathrooms are very well accommodated with a fridge, shower outside and AC.
We really recommend this hotel. 

Pretty nice hotel

This Resort set amidst a lot of trees and green foliage may not be for every tourists dream.   The accommodation is designed to be sparse and rustic.  It has a swimming pool and the beach is just opposite the Resort.  Meals are available from the resort.  very friendly and helpful staff.  All basic requirements catered for in a simple way.
