What a great experience we had in Mirissa. We moved from a hotel by the beach and it was the best. 
Located very close to the beach area and main road. 
Very clean room and outside area. The pool was very clean and inviting.

The personal were really nice and kind. Always very helpful.

Beautiful and quiet villa

Nice hotell close to Main Street but in a very silent and calm area. Walking distance to the beach. Stayed here with my family with two sons (16 and 6 years old). The staff were super nice and helpful. Clean and fresh rooms and bathrooms. Nice pool. Very good breakfast. We will return!

Nice staying with family

What an incredible little gem, tucked away but conveniently located for easy access to the town, restaurants and beach. A boutique hotel, so not so big that the personal touch is lost. We stayed for 14 days here, which is unusual in itself, and we couldn’t have been happier! The staff are what makes this place great, they became like our family, even threw a birthday party and celebrated with us with a cake- such a lovely touch. Nothing was too much trouble for them, spotlessly clean, rooms are well equipped, air con is very effective, pool is clean and well maintained, and the bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in!
Reasonably priced this isn’t the cheapest hotel in town, but it is good value for money, and the staff are anxious to help in any way they can, including arranging their fabulous driver Sabudh to get you around the area, which we appreciated.
Highly recommend  a stay in this hotel when you are in the area...you won’t regret it.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. We were too early for breakfast one morning as we had and had an excursion booked but the cook still made us our breakfast anyway. Thought it was really nice touch. Also we got laundry done in the morning and it arrived back the same day. Rooms are spacious and clean and its only a short walk to the beach.

Beautiful quiet villa just off the main street.

Not sure how it happened but we were booked in this place for 90 plus dollars per night so I expected some luxury... Not to be found here with loud aircon and does not look at all like the photos which portray a beach shack vibe... Having since checked cost per night it seems to be around 47 dollars which seems fair for a clean room and pool. Breakfast staff were pleasant and tried to make the most of one egg and a small sausage. Breakfast felt a bit mean... Could only see a tray of eggs in the fridge! We were the only family there apart from a kiwi couple who were also unhappy with price.

Overcharged for basic accommodation and food

Great location. Super market, wine shop, restaurants and beach all close by. Good size room and bathroom. Nice pool. Breakfast not so good. Owner terrible.
If the owner would stop away and leave her two young male staff to operate this hotel it would be very good. No refrigerator in the room, but on checking in they were more than happy for me to use the fridge/freezer by the pool, but as soon as I had paid,  the Owner was not happy at all about this arrangement. Nothing in the fridge but my beer, coke, water and ice, but I think she was not happy with the power I might be using. Her attitude and her mother, who followed us all the time, left a bad taste, despite the efforts of her staff. The only pleasant thing for our stay, for the majority of the time, we were the only ones there.

NOT THE BEST

We were and my friend went to this hotel because it’s had a pool in the night and we were asking the 1st floor room as mentioned in the online. She was shooting and telling can’t give that because and didn’t tell the reason. “ it’s not I can’t give that room in 1st floor.” Also seemed a bad opinion in that hotel. Not good and not recommended see some fungus in the pool

I recommend this place to all visitors willing to rest after sightseeing in Sri Lanka. The pool is clean, there are restaurants and supermarket nearby, short walk to the beach. Nice terrace to relax (take the rooms on the first floor). The A/C was the best - quiet and delicate - we slept perfectly and it is not a standard in Sri Lanka. Usually, the A/C is rather loud and hard to control. The WIFI worked really well - in the rooms and by the pool as well.
