Great location. Very close to the beach but far enough from noise.
The staff are very attentive and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast is really good, fruit, omelette, toast and coffee, great start to the day. 
Staff helped with booking whale watching. They were also knowledgeable with the local area and really accommodating.

Great value for money

Very good accommodation with clean and spacious rooms. Tt there is 👍 beach, dining and entertainment in two minutes ❤️ staff at your disposal and available for any information about the surroundings

Regardless of whether the hotel is situated, it's also worth nothing, we were missing room stuff and seeing the management stories I read here and understand why.

We were missing things from the room.

Between two rooms at Mirissa Village we almost got one functional one. 

Our first room in the middle of the three story block was good size with a clean bathroom. But the air conditioning was non existent and pumped warm wet air into the room; it was turned off and fan on high used instead. The door barely locked and felt very insecure. Not a good nights sleep.

The second room on the second floor of the smaller building was smaller in size but the air conditioning was excellent. Again, the lock was troublesome and barely worked. Furthermore the bathroom was a sauna and the shower drain was blocked leaving us with an inch of water underfoot after each wash. We left feeling damp and unclean.

Mini fridges and wifi worked well. Pillows were weird shaped but linen was clean. Did not eat there or use them for transportation. The beach is close, just down the alley and cutting through an empty (unused?) hotel which feels dodgy. Plenty of restaurants along the beach itself and a great driver is available directly outside on A2 Colombo-Matera Road. 

Google Maps incorrectly shows this location next to Sira’s Chalet when it is actually opposite Big Belly Roti next to Udupila Road. There are zero beach views available - only into the downstairs garden or surrounding hotels.

Two rooms both flawed

We booked three deluxe rooms with balcony. We were offered three rooms on the ground floor without balcony. All the bathrooms were full of mold! After the complaint we could have had a room with balcony and then the other two with balcony a day later. These rooms also had bathrooms full of mold. This was a health hazard! The manager was not prudent and didn't think the mold was bad. Unfortunately, for health reasons we had to book another hotel. Our prepaid money from me Village we didn't get back:(

The Homepage  Shows best Luxus rooms but the reality is: rooms full of Mold!

Terrible

Mixed feelings about our stay. The rooms are great, spacious and comfortable. But felt we had to constantly ask to get the room cleaned. There is a young guy there, who is preparing breakfast for everyone then he is cleaning all the rooms. I feel its too much work for one person. He is so kind, helpful and overworked.
 The manager is usually around on his phone, or with his feet up on the breakfast tables, and once entertaining his friends in the breakfast area.
 If it is busy, you will have to wait to get a seat for breakfast. But the breakfast is very good.
 It is very close to the beach, just a hop through a Central Beach where we ate every day.
 There is some noise at night time from passing tuk tuks playing very loud music. Also the beach party’s can be loud.
 
 We felt the manager could be contrary when approached about potentially simple requests.

Close to beach

Very helpful polite staff. Large room with balcony . Very good breakfast served with a smile fruit, toast, eggs and if course tea, coffee. Very convenient for the beach and restaurants. Aircon and fan in room. Fridge with small ice box.

Good value for money

We stayed in Mirissa for just a night but loved our stay here at Mirissa Village. The check in was a breeze, the beach is less than a 2 minute walk. The rooms are super spacious and the breakfast is a highlight! We were fed so well and left so satisfied!!!

Great time

I stayed one night at this hotel and had a bad start... I ran out of hotel the last night in Mirisa passing by there a few days before... asked and I was told fully booked. My surprise was when I connected in 10 minutes and found two rooms. Reserved for 79 $ The room is not worth 20 $ The good part very close to the beach and breakfast The bag: No hot water in the room Sagedad Hormigas and various creatures The frost oil a rotten fish Housing oil a humidity Saltaban the fuses with air conditioning. No go.
