Angel Inn is a wonderful spot to rest and relax in Negombo. It was our first stop and so was a great introduction to Sri Lanka.  The hosts, Marcus and Rita were so very kind and helpful, offering tips and suggestions. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Super value for money. The breakfast was delicious. So close to the beach and the Main Street Sotheby’s location was perfect. Would certainly return on our next visit. 

Excellent and relaxing place to stay in Negombo

We stayed at the Angel for one night when we arrived in Sri Lanka thinking it would be cheap and basic but a chance to catch up on sleep and adjust. But it was much more than that ... really welcoming, the staff cant do enough for you, a few yards from a beautiful beach and a sri lankan curry breakfast to die for. Also organised travel on to Kandy in luxury for 8000lkr. We will be staying here now on our last night

Great place to start your holiday

On the best street, near the beach and with a very friendly and helpful owner. I can recommend it to anyone just arriving or leaving Sri Lanka for a good start or ending of your vacation. Clean and modern rooms, great breakfast all for a good price. 

A great place near the beach

Very clean and nice gallery to sit out on.  Minutes from the beach and close to restaurants, bars and small supermarkets. Wasn't the warmest of welcomes though and the owner Marcus was brusque at best.  Added 10% to my bill for using a credit card. Cheaper accomodation nearby.

Clean and reasonably priced but...

Stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our trip. Our room was a little small and cramped compared to others -we had no where to put our clothes. Anyway it was functional and did the job, the staff were friendly and helped us to find a driver to show us the sights.

Clean and realistically priced

This place is very affordable and basic. It was clean and comfortable. It’s just a couple of properties back from the beach down a tiny side street/alleyway. The hosts weren’t overly helpful, may have been because we only stayed one night. The western breakfast was very simple eggs, toast and cut pineapple. A big issue that we had was that there were tons of mosquitoes under the mosquito net. They were able to arrange a ride to Kandy for us and I believe it was $68 USD. 

Very clean 

The guest house is very basic and not that clean, the moment we turned on the AC the owner knocked in our door to tell us that we will pay additional $5 per day for AC. At night their were loud voices with knocking in doors.
