I did not stay at this place but I just pass-by during an evening walk, I was invited for a visit inside the property by their staff and the owner’s daughter, Naomi (yup! A Sri Lankan-Japanese). Was introduced to the owner Mr Fernando. We had a good long chat on topics ranging from social-economic, tourism, international relationships etc. the environment of the property is very nice and the hospitality of the owner made me feels at home although I did not stay there. Will for sure stay here on my next visit to Negombo. p/s/ thanks for the fresh orange juice 😍

Courtesy visit.

This was our 3rd stay at La Grande and again another fantastic visit. As before we experienced fantastic value for money accommodation that offered us a safe, comfortable and exceptional value for money base for our 2 week visit to Sri Lanka.
This time the owner Nishan organised a trip to Trincomalee for us. The vehicle, driver and cost could not be faulted. We made stops off at Dambulla and Sigiriya on the way to Trincomalee both at no extra cost.
Overall another wonderful experience, highly recommended for those travellers who are looking for quality accommodation in a friendly, safe and caring environment.

Yet another amazing value for money stay

This is our second stay at La Grande. This time just for 2weeks but yet again we were delighted with both the welcome received and the quality of the accommodation and breakfast provided.
Nishan and his family really understand the art of hospitality and they go out of their way to ensure your safety, comfort and enjoyment are all met.
This wonderful guest house is a fantastic base in Negombo and will not disappoint.
We will be staying again when we visit in 2019

Home from home

My daughter and I stayed at this property on our last night in Sri Lanka recently.  The price was great,  the room was lovely and clean and the owners were so friendly and helpful.  The Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing as well.  Just across the road from the beach.  We had to walk about 15 min to dinner but once there we had numerous restaurants and bars to choose from.  I would definitely recommend Last Grande Holiday Resort. 

Beautiful place to stay

This homestay is good choice like first accomodation after flight to Sri Lanka. Owners are very helpful and polite, the youngest speeks three languages, even japanese! Room was clean with A/C, is quiet enough to sleep. Fresh juice and breakfast included. Highly recommanded.

Great rest after fligt!

Very nice place to start or finish a trip in Sri Lanka. Super warm welcome with fresh juice fruit and good advices to discover this magic island. Democratic budget to hire a car with driver. The whole staff was so nice.
