I had booked 3 nights in this hotel and we left the next day. First big disappointment to find that the hotel didn't look directly at the beach, contrary to what some photos might suggest and even checking on Google Map. The rest is a mixed feeling compared to the garden (bcp less beautiful than in the photos), the quality of the rooms (curtains not wide enough compared to the window)...

Average earnings in a beautiful place

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and I must say that everything went well. The friendly staff and the clean room and the air conditioning were efficient and quiet. The outdoor pool, which is cleaned every morning, is also beautiful. The only drawbacks are the steamy breakfast (we chose the western one) and the restaurant service, not because of the quality of the food, which is more than discreet, but rather because of the endless waiting times even for the drinks.

It's all right, except...

We had a great stay where we could rest after our trip beautiful pool, a few steps from the beaches, very attentive staff at a very reasonable price we could rent a scooter on site

The dream hotel is cheap.

First of all, we had our own generator and the power outages didn't touch us. Hot water, all the necessary furniture was in the rooms. We cleaned it on demand. The hotel area was very nice and well taken care of, clean and beautiful, the enclosed area. The pool was clean and large. The staff of the hotel was above all praise, everyone spoke English, was friendly and kind. The staff always played with our price, it was great and loved everyone, it saved us a lot of money, so we could both come to a kid who liked this kind of food. So the hotel is really nice. The staff is great, you can eat it, but you can't go to the best restaurants in the whole city.

Best hotel and best service in Sri Lanka

As a couple we spent the last few days of our trip in Sri Lanka here, and we very much enjoyed the place. Staff is super friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and the new swimming pool really added a big plus to the place. It was very clean, the location is good, close to the beach (which is quiet but popular with locals) and to pigeon island (amazing snorkeling). We also rented a scooter at the hotel for a very fair price and did our own little safari tour to some lakes close by where we found an amazing diversity of wetland birds and butterflies. 
In short, whether you prefer nice food, chilling at the pool, beach, or nature: try this hotel!

Great experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Crescent Sea Resort in August 2018. It was just what we needed after a tiring journey. We were travelling as a group of 30, and Crescent provided us with perfect place to stay, taking care of all our individual needs. The Hotel site is big enough so one doesn't feel crowded. The food was fresh and homely. The rooms and toilet were perfectly clean with every need thought of.

It was close to the sea and trips to pigeon island (great for snorkelling)..

Perfect respite and near the sea

The rooms are large and clean, and the staff super helpful.
The chef Ganesh was amazing and every meal was a Sri Lankan delight.
The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, and the beach is beautiful! All the locals from Trincomalee come here.
They’re in the final stages of installing a swimming pool (hope to be open before end of December 2018) and this will make the property even more attractive.
We highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing hospitality and food

It was the low season so it was just the 4 of us at the resort. The rooms are lovely, spacious, clean and have great fast wifi. 

The staff are all so kind and attentive. The food was the biggest highlight. They have a new chef who is amazing. Every dinner and breakfast was different and decided every day based on what we wanted. We had some of our best meals in Sri Lanka, and the pricing was reasonable. 

When we were there they were just completing the new swimming pool, and it will be done by Christmas. This will be a big benefit for guests!

Great stay, wonderful staff, amazing food!

Fantastic experience 

We spent five days at the Crescent Sea Resort and it was definitely the best accommodation during our vacation in Sri Lanka. The hotel has a very well-kept facility and the restaurant is also highly recommended (it was visited on some days by locals from the more distant Trincomalee), the price/performance ratio is absolutely okay and the menu varies. We ate there all the time during the five days, there was always something else for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The service was exceptionally good and we felt very welcome overall. Thank you for the good time, we are happy to come back!

Excelent view n excelent staff .main dishes are averagely good.BBQ n other dishes are excelent n tasty.rooms are well clean n comfortable.no other disturbances.staff is very freindly manner with very helpfull
