This is a good place in Nuwara Eliya to stay and relax safely for everyone. This is a small sweet family running the business. Tasty Sri Lankan food and very reasonable prices. New clean bathrooms and clean rooms. Breakfast was amazing. I recommend this place to visit and see once.

Very nice place with sweet family

First of all, the location on google maps at this time of writing is wrong. so please call and get directions. 

Very reasonable prices, comfortable rooms, hot water everything you expect is there for a low end stay.

Some rooms have a nice tea estate hill view. You can even got for a hike. Just be careful when you go near the power distribution point. 

On a very clear day, you can see Piduruthalagala summit. 

Some days are very windy so expect to hear some noises are wind passes by.

Hot water unit takes a little time to reach desired temperature so better turn it on as soon as you get into the room. 

Hosts are very friendly. very helpful. Even gave us a nice cup of tea in the morning. Free of charge! how nice. 

They can provide you food, but expensive. So just walk down the road towards gregory lake and you will see some local food shops. Get the local experience, dine in one of those. Cheap, tasty and fulfilling. 

Take a walk. enjoy.

Comfortable and Affordable

We booked Ragith Villa during festival season so it was a bit further from the town than we'd have liked (we payed 350rs for tuk tuks back most evenings, also there's a bus stop on the main road down the hill with regular buses) but it was a really nice place to stay. The location on google maps is wrong so use the one on here!

We stayed in a basement room that was well furnished and nice. A bit noisy in the mornings but otherwise perfect. Their garden is also full of gorgeous flowers and set in a peaceful location. The hosts live in a separate place on site but you could always ask one of the kids or other family members and someone would appear! They very helpfully and kindly drove us into town once when we couldn't get a tuk tuk, and we also went in their Jeep to Horton Plains for 4500rs with one of the hosts who was a great and helpful driver for us.  

Overall a pleasant stay!

Nice rooms and helpful hosts

First, use the location giving one tripadvisor or booking.com, the one from google map is on the wrong street. Rooms are comfy and large. No heating it was quite cold at night, I had to sleep with my jumper.I havent seen the staff much, but they were welcoming and still waiting for me even though I arrive 2h late.

Unfortunately we arrived in the rain and mist which meant that we could not see any of the surrounding scenery, however the doors were locked and lights out when we arrived at about 6 despite it being supposedly "full". The rooms were nice but cold and the whole place felt very empty and lacked character - maybe due to the bad weather? It is also a long way (10-15 minutes by Tuktuk) from Nuwara Eliya town which would be okay in good conditions but made it feel very isolated in the mist. 

Family were very helpful and allowed us to cancel the second night that we had booked.
