nice place in a quiet part of the town.The room was comfortable . The bed was super comfy.amazing staff that is friendly and makes customers feel welcome. The best stay ever.we highly recommend this place

Rooms were excellent and especially affordable rates. Can enjoy the view of the whole city and the mountains together. Management was so professional and friendly. Child friendly environment with lots of entertainment. Would recommend highly for couples and family. Moreover staffs are well mannered and knows the place well to guide you through for a better enjoyment of the place. 

Excellent and lovable for a comfy stay and enjoyment 

After a long journey we reached the Richmond inn.. Friendly Staff and We can't Forget the Srilankan Rotti Made by Owner of this Hotel. Birds were flying out side the hotel and there are nests out side the hotel. The Hotel seems to be Quite and Clean inside. Food was good, Excellent Rooms.

LOVELY STAY

This is a colonial bungalow style accommodation with rooms on 3 different levels.  The rooms are very basic with dated carpets but clean. There are family rooms with bunk beds as well.  The bed linen and towels need updating.  The bathrooms are quite new and clean. It has separate living,  dining and relaxing areas. There is a fulltime cook who can cook whatever we want. We just need to let him know in the morning and he will buy the ingredients and cook all meals. He obviously specializes in Sri Lankan cuisine and his food are very tasty delicious. Meals are always served on time.  Kitchen is very clean and spacious. In addition to the cook there is also another helper to assist with bags and anything else. The downside about this place is it does not have any heating. So it can get quite cold in the evenings especially during September through to January.  The place is centrally located and can walk down to the town. There is parking at the front for 2 cars. 

Great hospitality and food

We got cheated by their manager charging more money.....room looks very old.......room service very poor....TV channels not working even no WiFi provided.....hot water not coming at the time of bathing during morning.....

Saturday evening we decided on a spur of the moment trip to nuwaraeliya and through my friend who was a regular customer here I made my booking. Mr Shiyam the owner was very accomodating and super flexible with our dates and rooms and timings. Mr Raaja was so hospitable and tended to each of our necessities with care and so much hospitality. A hearty English breakfast is included. And although we paid a few hundred more to get going the fireplace it was well worth the ecperience roasting marshmellows and sausages. Washrooms were clean and rooms well kept. Would recommend this place yes :)

Our spontaneous trip to nuwaraeliya

Richmond in I booked for my friends. Staff was friendly and the owner was very helpful . They try to do their best. Food is amazing. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Hotel manager is very supportive and helpful.i was stay here 2 days.clean clear large rooms.this hotel was very super.very easily to reach to nuwaeliya junction. it's an excellent view from balcony. great service to staff. location is soo nicely.

The rooms was perfect _ comfortable, spacious, huge room,balcony with an amazing view.big bathroom/shower area, and wow_perfect in every way .The Richmond inn hotel was a wonderful place in nuweraeliya.The foods was tasty.staff are all helpfull and friendly.
