Leopard Corridor is Sri Lanka’s gem! You are immersed in nature and wildlife with all the luxury of a high end resort. The rooms are very well decorated, spacious and well ventilated. The property is peaceful and beautifully filled with trees and birds and you can encounter elephants right outside its gates. 
It is also 5 minutes walk to a beautiful immense beach with unique colours of the sand ranging from beige to red and violet, great rock formations and sand dunes. 

Asanka is an amazing host, very interesting to talk to as he knows everything about plants and wildlife and the same holds for the manager Sudesh and his assistant Mentis! They are very kind, fun and always ready to help. Sudesh knows the area like the palm of his hands and can bring you on amazing tours. They are also great chefs, cooking delicious healthy food with ingredients from the property.

We took a Safari with their safari guide MARI, who is a very experienced and fun guide. We saw plenty of elephants, buffalos, deers, peacocks, crocodiles, many many birds and two leopards. Mari has a great eye and can spot anything miles away. He can even smell when the elephant is near and brought us on empty paths, we almost did not see any other jeep! 

100% recommended. It was our best stay in Sri Lanka and we can’t wait to be back!

Best nature escape in Yala

We stayed at this great bungalow for 4 nights, enjoying rich wildlife and amazing nature. 

Leopard corridor is the place where warm atmosphere is created by the most hospitable people we have met in a while. The owner Asanka and manager Sudesh and professional Yala park guide Mari made our stay become the best experience. We have seen all of the main animals at the Yala park safari. Few leopards, many elephants, crocodiles, deers, warthogs, water buffalos and countless amount of bird species.

The facilities of the bungalow are very comfortable, clean and tidy. The territory is big and has many green trees and other plants. Recommended for everybody who wants to visit the area of Yala National Park and get the best unique experience

Great experience at Leopard Corridor Bungalow

Me and my family's first trip to Yala and our spirits were dampened by the heavy rain on the way but Asanka and his team completely changed the gloomy vacation to an exciting and adventure-filled one. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had air conditioning and hot water. We had wild elephants visiting the watering hole within the hotel area during the night, it was really exciting and a tad scary to watch the massive animal come that close to us. The food was excellent, Asanka and Sudesh were very friendly and great cooks. During our time there Asanka gave us cooking and photography classes. We had a wonderful BB Q one night and we were fortunate enough to have Asanka and the tracker Mari use their professional skills to lead us to have encounters with not 1 but 3 leopards, 2 of them which were very close to us. We also saw crocs, deer, dancing peacocks, wild elephants, and a wide variety of birds. My wife and kids loved it and it was a thrilling vacation. Would definitely choose to stay at Leopard corridor when coming back to Yala.

Quiet - excellent for family

I really enjoyed my stay here at Leopard Corridor, Asanka and Sudesh are really friendly and are both great cooker ! The bungalows are confortable, cosy and clean. It is an incredible place to observe the nature and see some elephant, peacocks and more. If I come back I will definitively come back here ! It is ideal for groups or families, with this huge garden. Thank you and wish you all the best

Amazing stay in the jungle !

Highly recommended for a peaceful stay to relax your sole and mind. The food was Excellent . The rooms were clean, neat and comfortable. The hospitality is more than expected. very kind staff and the friendly management .                                 Special Thanks  to Mr.Asanga for giving me the opportunity to see a Lepord that close.definitely will visit again. Hats off. 👍

Hello Guys, my stay at this wonderful place was filled with a lot of experience and fun. I stayed there for a few days with Asanka, the owner of this bungalow. He and his team do everything for you and it need no words. 
We do a night safari and saw a leopard, elephant and some deer. It is also a great place to relax and calm down. 

The food was great and very fresh. We eat some fish fresh from the sea and have a barbecue in the evening. You can listen to the noise of the birds and the grasshopper. Sleep outside or chill in the hammock. Have a great time with the other guests. Everything is possible and make a lot of fun in this little paradise.

I will come back to this place, if I am back in Sri Lanka, for sure!

Get in touch with the wilderness

A friend recommended the "Leopard Corridor", saying "you'll enjoy your stay".  Unfortunately I stayed just one night! Had I known I would certainly have planned  a longer stay and I am most certainly looking forward to going there again. Here's why.  The property is owned by a wildlife enthusiast. Naturally he understands the safari experience. 
The property  is designed to blend with the surroundings. The spacious garden and minimalist approach to furnishing without too much clutter are all plus points
The caretaker is a humble self effacing man from the Hill country and ever willing to please. 
The biggest advantage of course is the  distance to the park.Its so very convenient.
And you have the added attraction of nocturnal visitors. We saw a hare under the lights. Elephants are known to frequent the area and the caretaker said that  had sighted a few other animals including a leopard at the property.

A truly safari style experience

We loved this place! The bungalows were clean, the dining area was perfect for 
camp-style accomodations and it was close to park entry for Yala safari. The host Thilak was very friendly and welcoming and we had the most delicious vanilla / banana shakes. We organised our safari through the leopard corridor and our driver Mari was great. The children had a ball and we spotted a cheater, water buffalo, elephants and numerous other animals, even witnessed a peacock performing its dance. Food provided at the camp area was great and nothing was too much trouble. The only improvement I would suggest is adding hot water as there is only cold and you really need a hot shower after a day of safari. Other than this, perfect find! 

Perfect camp-style accomodation for Yala Safari 

Located near Palatupana beach, just about 150m away from mail access road for world famous Yala National Park. The bungalow consists of two AC rooms with attached bathrooms, outdoor deck, outdoor tent, separate common bathrooms. The dining area is separated. Very calm environment. Very convenient location if you plan Yala Safari Trips. 

Super foods, especially the hospitality from Mr. Thilak (The caretaker) is awesome. Sometimes you may experience that various wild animals come near to the bungalow such as wild elephants and birds. 

Can highly recommend to anyone who is seeking well maintained and clean accommodation near Yala National Park.

One of the Greatest Hideout at Yala NP !

We stayed at this guesthouse as part of a 2 day Safari arranged through Richard's Cabanas (Tissa).

It's only a 10 minute drive to the park entrance so perfectly located for an early arrival to beat the queues.

The compound has a large open-sided hunting-lodge style dining area where the lovely and welcoming host put on a huge feast of BBQ chicken and fish along with rice, vegetables, soup and fresh fruit.

The room was large and clean, only fan cooled but that was sufficient for sleeping.

Minor point: no WiFi
