Dirty, poorly maintained place, un-respectful staff, speaking hellish language. No value addition just a building. Not even a bottle of water has provided to the rooms. Tired bathroom fittings with bad smell. Disgusting garden. Totally wasted our holiday.



Wasted holiday

At first sight, the place looks nice because its located in the middle of a vegetable/fruit farm. However, that's all this place has to offer. 

The Good:
In the middle of a functioning vegetable farm

The Bad:
Extremely dirty and stinking bathroom
The bathroom sink was on the verge of collapse
Linen on the bed were stained and dirty
There was just one pillow per person
The towels provided were yellowed and frayed
No mirror in the room
A barrage of insects come in to the room at night, because the windows are improperly sealed
Nothing except for a small cake of soap provided in the bathroom
The dining area is unclean
No receipts provided by the hotel. 

Things to note:
If you wish to stay here, I would strongly suggest taking your own linen and towels (especially the towels).

Overall, its an unprofessionally managed setup that's just out to make a quick buck out of you

Nice location. Terrible hotel.

My fiancée and I stayed at one of the modernised treehouses on September 20th, 18th, and I have to say, it was very pleasant. The landscape around the treehouse is very idyllic and far enough from the streets that you can only hear nature. In the treehouse itself there are enough powerplugs, two beds with mosquito nets and an air conditioner. Funny enough, we found almost nothing but ants and hardly any mosquitoes. In the bathroom there is a small boiler with which you can take a hot shower. Unfortunately, the water is still enough, but the dishes are very tasty and included. There were not 1800 rottis, a type of breakfast cake and a full-fledged egg broth, and an air conditioning system. Unfortunately, we had a great deal of food for everyone, but we had a great meal for lunch and dinner, and we did not have a lot of food for everyone.

Modern Tree Houses

I booked 10 days in advance... I arrived at the place and they had no reservation and no room... no one spoke English! My father and Sri Lankan origin the reservation was in his name... and I'm sure they gave priority to other Europeans who arrived 40 minutes after my arrival! Racism against the same Sri Lankan compatriots.. I do not recommend it at all!!!!!!!!!!!

Don 't go, it's useless

This little village of houses on the tree is immersed in nature. There are onion, banana, rice and tobacco plantations all around. The guy who runs the place is really cute and very kind. The house itself is a different and pleasant experience. But: the sheets are half dirty, just like the sheets and the mosquito farm is dirty, rotten and stained. The bathroom leaves a little to be desired and it's not the cleanest. There's no air conditioner, no ventilator, at night the room is dark with the wind and the plants beating on the house and it's not really relaxing, rather it puts more anxiety.

Different from usual

Very disppointing. They were irrespectful to us as they cancelled our room last minute when we arrived there ( i had booked 2 rooms 3 days before and they were confirmed) because they gave our room to other people. We lost 2hours because of them, and they don’ t speak english, French italian..... Well i think he was lying ...i don’t recommand this place.

Bad service, irrespectfull

We had an amazing time in Sigiriya, thanks to our host who was great in giving us advice, setting up Tuk Tuks for us and arranging our next move to Nilaveli. We had a great time, it’s a beautiful place with food served made with fresh vegetables from the garden. Great experience!

Amazing place, helpful host

My friends and I spent a night in this accommodation in July. It is well suited for trips to Sigiriya, Pidurangala, Dambulla. A safari in Minneriya or Kadulla National Park can also be started from this accommodation. The treehouses are convenient and nicely furnished. However, communication with the staff in English is sometimes difficult and the mosque nets also have quite large holes. If you don't have too high demands, you are well taken care of here.

Who loves nature is right here

Everyone was super nice here, the surrounding was beautiful and they made fresh juices from the fruits right from their garden! The treehouses where really cute and nice. At night you heard the nature around and it plus the beds where amazing! Thank you for our stay!

Amazing stay in the treehouse

We stayed 2 nights at the Sigiriya farm garden resort, 3 friends. The owner is simply charming, so attentive and his priority is the happiness of his guests. Good on-site restaurant with Sri Lankan specialties and fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the garden. Nice clean room. The owner also arranged our transportation to the points of interest. This place is a little more isolated and quiet, but I recommend it.
